Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran kepala sekolah dalam mengembangkan kompetensi guru melalui optimalisasi komunitas belajar jenjang Sekolah Dasar (SD) dalam mendukung implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka di Kecamatan Pamulihan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif, yang memungkinkan peneliti untuk menggambarkan fenomena secara mendalam dan rinci. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan peran kepala sekolah dalam mengembangkan kompetensi guru sekolah dasar melalui optimalisasi komunitas belajar, mendeskripsikan peran kepala sekolah dalam mendukung implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka, dan mendeskripsikan peran kepala sekolah dalam mengembangkan kompetensi guru sekolah dasar melalui optimalisasi komunitas belajar dalam mendukung implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka di Kecamatan Pamulihan. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan kepala sekolah dan guru serta analisis dokumen terkait implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka. Hasil keseluruhan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepala sekolah mampu mengelola komunitas belajar sehingga menjadi wadah dalam meningkatkan kompetensi guru. Komunitas belajar dapat berperan penting dalam meningkatkan kompetensi guru. Dengan berbagi praktik baik, pengalaman, dan pengetahuan, anggota komunitas dapat belajar dari satu sama lain dan mengimplementasikan ide-ide baru dalam pengajaran yang mengimplementasikan kurikulum merdeka. Data menunjukkan bahwa langkah-langkah pengelolaan yang ditempuh kepala sekolah mampu membentuk iklim komunitas belajar, sehingga peran komunitas dalam meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam mendukung implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka dapat maksimal. Peran komunitas belajar memberi dampak yang cukup signifikan dalam peningkatan kompetensi guru. ----- This study aims to describe the role of the principal in developing teacher competency through optimizing the learning community at the Elementary School (SD) level in supporting the implementation of the Independent Curriculum in Pamulihan District. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, which allows researchers to describe the phenomenon in depth and detail. The purpose of this study is to describe the role of the principal in developing the competency of elementary school teachers through optimizing the learning community, describe the role of the principal in supporting the implementation of the Independent Curriculum, and describe the role of the principal in developing the competency of elementary school teachers through optimizing the learning community in supporting the implementation of the Independent Curriculum in Pamulihan District. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with principals and teachers and document analysis related to the implementation of the Independent Curriculum. The overall results of the study indicate that the principal is able to manage the learning community so that it becomes a forum for improving teacher competency. Learning communities can play an important role in improving teacher competency. By sharing good practices, experiences, and knowledge, community members can learn from each other and implement new ideas in teaching that implements the independent curriculum. The data shows that the management steps taken by the principal are able to form a learning community climate, so that the role of the community in improving teacher competence in supporting the implementation of the Independent Curriculum can be maximized. The role of the learning community has a significant impact on improving teacher competence.
