Abstract

Pendidik di SMPN 2 Tarogong Kidul memiliki akses terbatas dalam sumber belajar yang sesuai, kurangnya fasilitas bagi pendidik untuk memberikan tayangan video juga memengaruhi proses pembelajaran peserta didik, sehingga pendidik menggunakan metode tradisional dalam proses pembelajaran, sehingga respon peserta didik saat pembelajaran berlangsung berjalan membosankan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menggambarkan pemanfaatan museum virtual sebagai sumber belajar digital. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei dengan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif dengan analisis data berupa persentase. Teknik sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini ialah probability sampling dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Sampel dari penelitian merupakan 3 kelas VIII yang berjumlah 94 peserta didik. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan fitur museum virtual masuk pada kategori tinggi, respon pengguna museum virtual masuk pada kategori sangat tinggi, dan kendala pengguna museum virtual masuk pada kategori sangat tinggi. Hal ini berarti museum virtual dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai sumber belajar dalam proses pembelajaran khususnya pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial, walaupun dalam pemanfaatannya terdapat beberapa responden yang mengalami kendala saat hendak atau sedang mengakses museum virtual yaitu terkendala dengan jaringan internet. Educators at SMPN 2 Tarogong Kidul have limited access to appropriate learning resources, and the lack of facilities for educators to present video screenings also affects the learning process of students. As a result, educators use traditional methods in the learning process, leading to a boring response from students during lessons. The purpose of this research is to describe the utilization of virtual museums as digital learning resources. This research uses a survey method with a descriptive quantitative approach and data analysis in the form of percentages. The sampling technique used in this research is probability sampling with the cluster random sampling technique. The sample of the study consists of 3 eighth-grade classes with a total of 94 students. The results of this study indicate that the use of virtual museum features falls into the high category, user responses to the virtual museum fall into the very high category, and user obstacles with the virtual museum fall into the very high category. This means that virtual museums can be utilized as a learning resource in the educational process, especially in the subject of Social Sciences, although in its utilization, there are some respondents who experience difficulties when trying to access the virtual museum, specifically due to internet connectivity issues.
