Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan peer feedback dalam pembelajaran pelafalan bahasa Jepang pada mahasiswa tingkat dasar. Peer feedback dipilih sebagai metode pembelajaran karena dinilai dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pelafalan secara mandiri melalui interaksi dan evaluasi sesama pemelajar (Najoan, 2014). Data dikumpulkan melalui angket, lembar peer feedback, rekaman suara, dan aplikasi analisis fonetik Praat. Proses pembelajaran dilakukan dalam lima pertemuan yang mencakup pengajaran teori, praktik pelafalan, dan sesi peer feedback. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan peer feedback dapat diterapkan untuk mendukung pembelajaran pelafalan bahasa Jepang. Mahasiswa juga memberikan respons positif terhadap metode ini karena mampu mengurangi tekanan psikologis dan meningkatkan rasa percaya diri. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa peer feedback dapat menjadi metode alternatif dalam pembelajaran pelafalan bahasa Jepang, yang khususnya untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan mahasiswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Dengan adanya penelitian ini diharapkan aspek pelafalan Bahasa Jepang bisa lebih diperhatikan lagi dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Jepang. This study aims to analyse the application of peer feedback in learning Japanese pronunciation for beginner level. Peer feedback was chosen as a learning method because it is considered to improve pronunciation skills independently through interaction and evaluation of fellow learners (Najoan, 2014). Data were collected through questionnaires, peer feedback sheets, voice recordings, and Praat phonetic analysis application. The learning process was conducted in five meetings which included theory teaching, pronunciation practice, and peer feedback sessions. The results showed that the application of peer feedback can be applied to support the learning of Japanese pronunciation. Students also responded positively to this method as it reduces psychological pressure and increases self-confidence. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that peer feedback can be an alternative method in learning Japanese pronunciation, especially to increase students' involvement in the learning process. With this research, it is hoped that the aspect of Japanese pronunciation can be given more attention in Japanese language learning.
