Abstract

ABSTRAK Bahan pembelajaran untuk menulis cerpen umumnya mengacu pada buku siswa, lembar kerja siswa, sumber-sumber di internet, serta potensi lingkungan sekitar siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis gaya bahasa yang terdapat dalam buku Dongeng Bergambar Kancil yang Cerdik, yang dapat dijadikan alternatif untuk pengembangan bahan pembelajaran menulis cerpen bagi siswa kelas VI sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori gaya bahasa, dongeng, keterampilan menulis, dan cerita pendek untuk menganalisis data. Dalam penelitian ini, pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan menerapkan metode analisis isi. Fokus utama penelitian adalah pada gaya bahasa yang ada dalam buku Dongeng Bergambar Kancil yang Cerdik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 19 jenis gaya bahasa, di antaranya gaya perbandingan (seperti perumpamaan, metafora, personifikasi, alegori, antitesis, pleonasme, tautologi, perifrasis, dan koreksi atau epanortosis) sebanyak 70 data. Selain itu, gaya penentangan (termasuk hiperbola, ironi, apostrof, sinisme, dan sarkasme) sebanyak 34 data, serta gaya pertautan (seperti metonimia, sinedoke, epitet, dan epilis) sebanyak 10 data. Gaya perulangan, khususnya mesodilopsis, tercatat sebanyak 1 data. Dari data yang dianalisis, terdapat tujuh kategori yang menggambarkan pesan yang ingin disampaikan oleh penulis, yaitu suasana, keadaan, perasaan, tindakan, sosok, sikap, dan waktu. Selanjutnya, temuan ini diolah menjadi bahan pembelajaran dalam bentuk handout yang berisi materi menulis cerpen, panduan gaya bahasa untuk guru, serta lembar kerja siswa sebagai latihan dalam memahami gaya bahasa dan berlatih menulis cerpen. ABSTRACT Learning materials for writing short stories generally refer to student books, student worksheets, sources on the internet, and the potential environment around students. This research aims to analyze the language style contained in the book Fairy Tales with Pictures of the Clever Kancil, which can be used as an alternative for developing learning materials for writing short stories for sixth grade elementary school students. This research uses the theory of language style, fairy tales, writing skills, and short stories to analyze data. In this research, the approach used is qualitative by applying the content analysis method. The main focus of the research is on the language style in the book Fairy Tales Illustrated by the Clever Kancil. The research results show that there are 19 types of language styles, including comparative styles (such as similes, metaphors, personification, allegory, antithesis, pleonasm, tautology, periphrasis, and correction or epanorthosis) totaling 70 data. Apart from that, there are 34 opposing styles (including hyperbole, irony, apostrophe, cynicism, and sarcasm), and 10 linking styles (such as metonymy, synedoche, epithet, and epithet). The recurrence style, especially mesodilopsis, was recorded as 1 data. From the data analyzed, there are seven categories that describe the message the author wants to convey, namely atmosphere, circumstances, feelings, actions, figures, attitudes and time. Furthermore, these findings were processed into learning materials in the form of handouts containing short story writing material, language style guides for teachers, and student worksheets as exercises in understanding language styles and practicing writing short stories.
