Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kualitas implementasi Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5) dalam konteks pengembangan keterampilan sosial abad ke-21 pada tingkat SMA di Provinsi Jambi. Penelitian ini menggunakan model evaluasi iluminatif, yang memberikan pendekatan holistik dan mendalam untuk memahami dinamika antara sistem instruksional dan lingkungan belajar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui teknik wawancara, observasi, dan analisis dokumen. Penelitian dilakukan di 5 SMA yang ada di Provinsi Jambi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya ketidaksesuaian antara perencanaan dan pelaksanaan pada beberapa aspek P5, terutama dalam penilaian hasil pembelajaran. Evaluasi terhadap ketercapaian proyek cenderung tidak menyeluruh, hanya berfokus pada proses dan hasil akhir tanpa mempertimbangkan kebutuhan spesifik satuan pendidikan. Kurangnya pendampingan guru dalam merancang asesmen yang komprehensif juga menjadi salah satu hambatan utama dalam implementasi P5. Selain itu, pelibatan guru dalam penyusunan laporan hasil asesmen diagnostik, formatif, dan sumatif, serta pembagian peran dalam tim proyek, masih memerlukan penguatan. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi teoritis dengan memperkaya literatur akademik mengenai evaluasi kurikulum berbasis proyek dalam pendidikan formal. Secara praktis, penelitian ini memberikan rekomendasi strategis bagi sekolah, guru, dan pembuat kebijakan untuk meningkatkan mutu implementasi P5, terutama dalam integrasi keterampilan sosial abad ke-21 ke dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini juga membuka peluang bagi studi lanjutan untuk mengeksplorasi pendekatan evaluasi yang lebih adaptif dalam mendukung pembelajaran berbasis proyek di berbagai konteks pendidikan. This study aims to evaluate of quality of the implementation of the Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5) in the context of developing 21st-century social skills at the senior high school level in Jambi Province. The research employs an illuminative evaluation model, offering a holistic and in-depth approach to understanding the dynamics between instructional systems and learning environments. The study adopts a qualitative research approach, with data collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis. The research was conducted in five senior high schools across Jambi Province. The findings reveal discrepancies between the planning and implementation of several aspects of P5, particularly in the assessment of learning outcomes. The evaluation of project achievements tends to be incomplete, focusing only on processes and final outcomes without considering the specific needs of each educational unit. A lack of teacher support in designing comprehensive assessments was identified as a key barrier to the implementation of P5. Additionally, the involvement of teachers in preparing diagnostic, formative, and summative assessment reports, as well as role distribution within project teams, requires further strengthening. This study contributes theoretically by enriching academic literature on project-based curriculum evaluation in formal education. Practically, it offers strategic recommendations for schools, teachers, and policymakers to enhance the quality of P5 implementation, particularly in integrating 21st-century social skills into learning. Furthermore, this study opens opportunities for future research to explore more adaptive evaluation approaches in supporting project-based learning across various educational contexts.
