Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh karena beberapa kegiatan pembelajaran kurang melibatkan siswa secara aktif, kurang optimalnya media pembelajaran sehingga menyebabkan siswa sulit memahami bahan ajar. Pada saat ini juga siswa kurang memiliki nilai-nilai karakter profil Pancasila dikarenakan siswa saat ini cenderung tidak menanamkan nilai-nilai Pancasila di kehidupannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Project-Based Learning (PJBL) dalam menanamkan karakter profil Pancasila melalui pembelajaran pendidikan Pancasila pada siswa dan untuk mengetahui perbandingan karakter profil Pancasila yang menggunakan model pembelajaran PJBL dan PBL pada siswa di kelas III Sekolah Dasar. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan desain pre-test dan post-test, di mana dua kelompok kelas III dipilih sebagai sampel. Satu kelompok diberikan perlakuan dengan menggunakan model PJBL, sementara kelompok lainnya menggunakan pendekatan PBL. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi tes melalui pemberian soal pilihan ganda untuk mengukur perubahan pada karakter Profil Pancasila siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran PJBL dapat meningkatkan pemahaman dan pengamalan nilai-nilai Pancasila, serta memperkuat karakter siswa sesuai dengan profil yang diharapkan dalam konteks pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila. Temuan ini memberikan implikasi bahwa penerapan model PJBL dapat menjadi alternatif yang efektif dalam membentuk karakter siswa di sekolah dasar, khususnya dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai Pancasila sebagai dasar kehidupan berbangsa dan bernegara. ---------- This research is motivated by the fact that some learning activities do not involve students actively, the lack of optimal learning media makes it difficult for students to understand teaching materials. At this time students also lack the character values of the Pancasila profile because current students tend not to instill Pancasila values in their lives. This study aims to determine the effect of the Project-Based Learning (PJBL) learning model in instilling the character of the Pancasila profile through Pancasila education learning for students and to determine the comparison of the character of the Pancasila profile using the PJBL and PBL learning models for students in grade III Elementary School. The method used was experimental research with pre-test and post-test design, in which two groups of grade III were selected as samples. One group was given treatment using the PJBL model, while the other group used the PBL approach. The instruments used in this study include tests through giving multiple choice questions to measure changes in the character of the Pancasila Profile of students. The results showed that the PJBL learning model can improve the understanding and practice of Pancasila values, as well as strengthen the character of students in accordance with the expected profile in the context of Pancasila Education learning. This finding implies that the implementation of PJBL model can be an effective alternative in shaping the character of students in elementary schools, especially in instilling the values of Pancasila as the foundation of the state.
