Penelitian ini bertujuan mengonstruksi kerangka kerja bimbingan dan konseling transpersonal berbasis tradisi cabis pada pesantren di Madura. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain focused ethnography. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi partisipan dan wawancara. Theoretical sampling digunakan untuk memilih informan penelitian. Data penelitian dianalisis secara tematik. Tema-tema yang muncul dianalisis menggunakan teori psikologi transpersonal dan teori hubungan bantuan (helping relationship). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa cabis berterima sebagai fondasi bimbingan dan konseling transpersonal karena memfasilitasi pemenuhan kebutuhan dasar manusia dalam aspek filosofis, psikologis, edukatif, dan spiritual. Kerangka kerja bimbingan dan konseling transpersonal berbasis tradisi cabis berpandangan bahwa hakikat manusia adalah al-nafs yang memiliki kemampuan untuk mencapai potensi tertinggi dengan cara yang sejalan dengan moralitas. Hakikat cabis adalah silaturahmi lahir dan batin antara murid dan guru. Fondasi kasih sayang membentuk hubungan batin psikoedukatif antara murid dan guru yang dilandasi rasa saling percaya, ketakziman, dan saling mendoakan. Keberkahan sebagai nilai inti bimbingan dan konseling transpersonal menciptakan keberlimpahan makna hidup di dunia yang berorientasi keselamatan dan kebahagiaan hakiki di akhirat. Strategi bimbingan dan konseling transpersonal meliputi pengembangan hubungan, pengembangan intuisi, dan pengembangan spiritualitas terdiri atas teknik-teknik bimbingan dan konseling yang bersifat reflektif dan meditatif. Rangkaian strategi dan teknik bimbingan transpersonal mampu memfasilitasi girah perubahan yang melibatkan kemampuan metakognisi murid dalam proses pemahaman diri dan perencanaan tujuan; dan memfasilitasi murid untuk merealisasikan potensi diri tertinggi sebagai entitas spiritual.

This study aims to construct the framework of cabis tradition-based transpersonal guidance and counseling at islamic boarding school in Madura. It adopts focused ethnography research design with in-depth interviews and participant observation as data collection technique. Research informants consist of Kiai, Nyai, students and alumni were selected based on theoretical sampling technique. The data were analyzed using thematic analysis technique combined with transpersonal psychology theory and helping relationship theory paradigm. The cabis tradition elements are employed as a basis for constructing the culture-based transpersonal guidance and counseling framework. This study uncovers that cabis is accepted as a foundation for transpersonal guidance and counseling because it facilitates the fulfillment of basic human needs in philosophical, psychological, educational and spiritual aspects. The cabis tradition-based transpersonal guidance and counseling framework views that human nature is al-nafs which can achieve the highest potential that is in line with morality. The essence of cabis is the psychic and spiritual relationship between students and teachers. The affection foundation establishes a psycho-educative inner relationship between students and teachers based on mutual trust, reverent and prayer. Blessing as the core value of transpersonal guidance and counseling creates a surplus of meaning in students' present lives which is oriented towards salvation and ultimate happiness in the afterlife. Transpersonal guidance and counseling strategy includes developing relationship, intuition, and spirituality, which consists of reflective and meditative guidance and counseling techniques. The strategies and techniques encourage dynamics of change that involves metacognitive abilities in self-understanding and planning goals; and facilitate students to realize their highest potential as spiritual entities.
