Shalika Fajrin Triananda, - (2025) PENGARUH MODEL ROLE PLAYING BERBANTUAN GAME EDUKATIF TERHADAP PENGETAHUAN P3K SISWA KELAS V SD. S1 thesis, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia.
Abstract
--------- This study aims to analyze the effect of the role-playing method assisted by educational games on the first aid skills of fifth-grade elementary school students. The research method used is a quasi-experiment with a non-equivalent pretest-posttest control group design, involving two groups: the experimental group, which applied the role-playing method, and the control group, which used the discussion method assisted by an application. The study was conducted at SDN Majakerta 01 and SDN Majakerta 02 from December 13 to 16, 2024. The results showed that the role playing method assisted by educational games significantly improved students' first aid skills. The experimental group showed an increase in the average pretest score from 49.17 to 66.67 on the posttest, while the control group only increased from 48.25 to 58.50.The N-Gain statistical test showed that the average increase in the experimental group (35.37%) was higher than the control group (18.80%).In addition, observation results revealed that students in the experimental group were more active and engaged in the learning process, showing better motivation and understanding. These findings indicate that the role playing method assisted by educational games is more effective in improving students' skills and understanding in the field of first aid compared to the discussion method. Therefore, it is recommended that schools integrate interactive learning methods such as role playing and educational media in the curriculum to improve students' practical skills, especially in the field of first aid.
