Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa yang disebabkan oleh pembelajaran yang berpusat pada guru dan model pembelajaran yang digunakan model konvensional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana penerapan dan pengaruh model pembelajaran flipped classroom terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa kelas IV SD pada materi keragaman budaya Indonesia dan juga untuk mengetahui perbedaan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa yang memperoleh perlakuan model pembelajaran flipped classroom dengan siswa yang memperoleh perlakuan model pembelajaran problem-based learning. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen dengan desain non-equivalent pretest posttest kontrol group. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran flipped classroom terdiri 3 tahapan yaitu tahap pertama before class, tahap kedua in class, dan tahap terakhir after class. Selanjutnya berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data pertama diperoleh hasil uji paired sample t-test pada kelas eksperimen dan juga kelas kontrol masing-masing menunjukan taraf signifikansi sebesar 0.001, yang berarti Ha diterima. Hasil tersebut menunjukan bahwa model pembelajaran flipped classroom dan model pembelajaran problem-based learning berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa. Hasil analisis yang kedua diperoleh hasil uji independent sample t-test dari posttest kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol menunjukan taraf signifikansi 0.003 yang berarti Ha diterima. Hasil tersebut menunjukan bahwa terdapat perbedaan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa yang memperoleh model pembelajaran flipped classroom dengan siswa yang memperoleh model pembelajaran problem-based learning. Penggunaan model pembelajaran flipped classroom memiliki nilai lebih tinggi dibandingkan penggunaan model pembelajaran problem-based learning. --------- This research is motivated by the low problem-solving abilities of students caused by teacher-centered learning and the use of conventional learning models. This study aims to determine how the implementation and influence of the flipped classroom learning model affects the problem-solving abilities of fourth-grade elementary school students on Indonesian cultural diversity materials and also to determine the differences in problem-solving abilities between students who received the flipped classroom learning model treatment and students who received the problem-based learning model treatment. This research uses a quasi-experimental method with a non-equivalent pretest-posttest control group design. The research results show that the implementation of the flipped classroom learning model consists of 3 stages: the first stage is before class, the second stage is in class, and the final stage is after class. Furthermore, based on the first data processing results, the paired sample t-test results in both the experimental class and control class showed a significance level of 0.001, which means Ha is accepted. These results indicate that both the flipped classroom learning model and problem-based learning model affect students' problem-solving abilities. The second analysis results obtained from the independent sample t-test of the experimental class and control class posttest showed a significance level of 0.003, which means Ha is accepted. These results indicate that there are differences in problem-solving abilities between students who received the flipped classroom learning model and students who received the problem-based learning model. The use of the flipped classroom learning model has higher values compared to the use of the problem-based learning model.
