Abstract
ABSTRAK HUBUNGAN AKTIVITAS JASMANI DAN KESEHATAN MENTAL TERHADAP PRESTASI BELAJAR SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR Wiwin Wulandari wiwinulan11@gmail.com Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar Pendidikan Jasmani Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia Di dunia pendidikan, penting untuk memahami faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi prestasi belajar siswa. Salah satu faktor yang berpotensi berkontribusi adalah aktivitas jasmani dan kesehatan mental siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SDN 3 Sukamenak untuk menganalisis hubungan antara aktivitas jasmani dan kesehatan mental terhadap prestasi belajar siswa. Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross-sectional selama satu semester, melibatkan 41 siswa kelas V melalui kuesioner, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan signifikan antara aktivitas jasmani dan kesehatan mental terhadap prestasi belajar siswa. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan yang berharga bagi pihak sekolah dan pendidik untuk memahami bahwa meskipun kesehatan mental dan aktivitas jasmani penting, mereka tidak selalu berkorelasi langsung dengan prestasi belajar, sehingga mendorong penelitian lebih lanjut mengenai faktor-faktor lain yang dapat memengaruhi hasil akademis siswa. One factor that may contribute is the students' physical activity and mental health. This research was conducted at SDN 3 Sukamenak to analyze the relationship between physical activity and mental health on students' academic performance. The research methodology used is quantitative with a cross-sectional approach over one semester, involving 41 fifth-grade students through questionnaires, observations, and documentation. The results show that there is no significant relationship between physical activity and mental health on students' academic performance. This study provides valuable insights for schools and educators to understand that while mental health and physical activity are important, they do not always correlate directly with academic achievement, thereby encouraging further research into other factors that may influence students' academic outcomes.
