Abstract
Karakter disiplin sangat penting dimiliki oleh manusia agar muncul karakter baik lainnya. Karakter disiplin tidak lahir dengan sendirinya tetapi perlu ada pembinaan yang dilakukan agar seseorang memiliki karakter disiplin dalam diri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi pembinaan karakter disiplin siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah reduksi data, tampilan data, verifikasi dan penegasan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil yang ditemukan, bentuk pembinaan karakter disiplin siswa di sekolah dasar adalah dengan menerapkan pembinaan otoriter dan pembinaan demokratis. Strategi yang digunakan dalam pembinaan karakter disiplin siswa di sekolah dasar yaitu: (1) melaksanakan pembinaan dengan sosialisasi, (2) melaksanakan pembinaan melalui kegiatan pembiasaan, (3) memberikan keteladanan, (4) memberikan hukuman. Metode yang digunakan dalam membina karakter disiplin siswa yaitu metode ceramah, diskusi, pemberian nasihat dan demonstrasi. Teknik yang digunakan dalam membina karakter disiplin siswa yaitu dengan memberikan tugas, memberikan pengawasan, memberikan anjuran dan hukuman. Hambatan dalam melaksanakan pembinaan karakter disiplin siswa di sekolah dasar yaitu keterlambatan guru dalam menyampaikan informasi kepada siswa, masalah siswa yang datang dari rumah, ketidakhadiran orang tua dalam memenuhi undangan sekolah untuk melaksanakan kegiatan sosialisasi. Solusi yang dilakukan untuk mengatasi hambatan tersebut yaitu dengan membuat strategi untuk perbaikan, mengevaluasi guru, serta membuat flyer yang berisi materi yang dibahas dalam kegiatan parenting. The character of discipline is very important for humans to have other good characters. Disciplinary character is not born by itself, but there needs to be training so that someone has a disciplined character within themselves. This research aims to determine strategies for developing the disciplined character of elementary school students. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection techniques in this research are observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis used in this research is data reduction, data display, verification and confirmation of conclusions. Based on the results found, the form of developing students' disciplinary character in elementary schools is by implementing authoritarian coaching and democratic coaching. The strategies used in developing students' disciplinary character in elementary schools are: (1) carrying out guidance through socialization, (2) carrying out guidance through habituation activities, (3) providing an example, (4) giving punishment. The methods used in developing students' disciplined character are lecture, discussion, giving advice and demonstration methods. The techniques used in developing students' disciplined character are by giving assignments, providing supervision, providing advice and punishment. Obstacles in implementing student discipline character development in elementary schools are teacher delays in conveying information to students, problems with students coming from home, parents' absence in fulfilling the school's invitation to carry out socialization activities. The solution to overcome these obstacles is to create strategies for improvement, evaluate teachers, and create flyer which contains the material discussed in the activity parenting.
