    Abstract

    The purpose of this study is to formulate an optimal implementation model of the Independent Curriculum to improve P5 based on local wisdom, as a guide for schools in developing a curriculum that is relevant to local values and the needs of student character formation according to the Pancasila Student Profile. The method used in this study is the Design Based Research (DBR) method with a 4-D (Four D) development model consisting of 4 stages, including: the definition stage (define), design (design), development (develop) and dissemination (disseminate). This study produced the SIMPUL PANCASILA Model, which is an implementation model designed to support the implementation of the Independent Curriculum in improving the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) based on local wisdom. This model includes the stages of planning, organizing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating which focus on the adaptability of the curriculum to local culture and ease of implementation in schools. In the SIMPUL PANCASILA Model, a project-based approach that is relevant to the local cultural context is emphasized so that students can learn more contextually. This model also places importance on the involvement of all parties, including teachers, principals, school committees, and parents, in supporting the effective implementation process of the Independent Curriculum. So it can be concluded that with this approach, it is hoped that the younger generation will not only become academically intelligent individuals, but also have strong characters and appreciate their cultural heritage.
