Abstract

Pendahuluan: Anemia adalah kondisi jumlah sel darah merah kurang dari normal yang karena kurangnya zat besi dalam tubuh. Remaja putri sangat rentan mengalami anemia karena didukung oleh beberapa faktor. Faktor penyebab anemia diantaranya pengetahuan, status kesehatan, usia, jenis kelamin, status ekonomi, pendidikan orang tua, pola menstruasi, pola makan, pola tidur, aktivitas fisik, dan kepatuhan terhadap konsumsi tablet tambah darah. Tujuan: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh edukasi kesehatan melalui videp animasi terhadap pengetahuan siswi mengenai faktor penyebab anemia. Metode penelitian: Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMPN 2 Buahdua dengan menggunakan metode quasi eksperimen dengan one group pretest-postest design. Adapun kriteria inklusi pada penelitian ini adalah siswa SMPN 2 Buahdua, sudah terdeteksi medis mengalami anemia, dan usia di rentang 12-15 tahun. Hasil dan pembahasan: Terdapat pengaruh pemberian edukasi kesehatan mengenai faktor penyebab anemia dengan menggunakan media video animasi terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan remaja putri yang dilihat dari meningkatnya nilai median sebelum dan setelah intervensi. Hal tersebut dikarenakan video animasi dapat menarik perhatian dan meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswi karena tampilan yang menarik dan interaktif. Kesimpulan: Pemberian edukasi kesehatan mengenai faktor penyebab anemia menggunakan video animasi berpangaruh dalam meningkatkan tingkat pengetahuan pada remaja putri di SMPN 2 Buahdua Sumedang. Kata Kunci: Anemia, Faktor Penyebab Anemia, Remaja Putri, Video Animasi Introduction: Anemia is a condition where the number of red blood cells is less than normal due to a lack of iron in the body. Young women are very susceptible to anemia because it is supported by several factors. Factors that cause anemia include knowledge, health status, age, gender, economic status, parental education, menstrual patterns, eating patterns, sleep patterns, physical activity, and compliance with consuming blood supplement tablets. Purpose: The aim of this research is to determine the influence of health education through animated videos on female students' knowledge about the factors that cause anemia. Research method: This research was conducted at SMPN 2 Buahdua using a quasi-experimental method with a one group pretest-posttest design. The inclusion criteria in this study were students at SMPN 2 Buahdua, medically detected as having anemia, and age in the range of 13-15 years. Results and discussion: There is an influence of providing health education regarding the factors that cause anemia using animated video media on increasing the knowledge of young women as seen from the increase in the median value before and after the intervention. This is because animated videos can attract attention and increase female students' learning motivation because of their attractive and interactive appearance. Conclusion: Providing health education regarding the factors that cause anemia using animated videos has an impact on increasing the level of knowledge among young women at SMPN 2 Buahdua Sumedang.
