Abstract

Profesionalisme guru merupakan aspek krusial dalam upaya mewujudkan pendidikan yang berkualitas. Tinjauan literatur mengindikasikan, bahwa profesionalisme guru dapat dipengaruhi oleh kompensasi dan supervisi akademik. Namun demikian terdapat penelitian yang menembukan bukti terkait pada guru honorer. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendekskripsikan sistem kompensasi, supervisi akademik, dan profesionalisme guru honorer, kemudian menganalisis besaran pengaruh kompensasi terhadap profesionalisme, supervisi akademik terhadap profesionalisme, serta sistem kompensasi dan supervisi akademik terhadap profesionalisme guru honorer pada sekolah dasar di Kecamatan Astanaanyar, Bandung. Memanfaatkan pendekatan kuantitatif tipe analisis deskriptif dan korelasi, kuesioner tipe pernyataan tertutup dengan model skala Likert – dipilih sebagai teknik pengumpulan data. Penelitian ini berhasil memperoleh respon dari 127 partisipan yang ditetapkan sebagai sample penelitian. Model analisis data softwere AMOS versi 26 sebagai alat pendukung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) sistem kompensasi pada guru honorer sekolah dasar di kecamatan astanaanyar bandung termasuk dalam kategori baik. (2) supervisi akademik pada guru honorer sekolah dasar di kecamatan astanaanyar bandung termasuk dalam kategori baik. (3) profesionalisme pada guru honorer sekolah dasar di kecamatan astanaanyar bandung termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik. (4) Adanya pengaruh signifikan kompensasi terhadap profesionalisme guru honorer pada Sekolah Dasar di Kecamatan Astanaanyar, Bandung (5) Adanya pengaruh signifikan supervisi akademik terhadap profesionalisme guru honorer pada Sekolah Dasar di Kecamatan Astanaanyar, Bandung. (6) Adanya pengaruh kompensasi dan supervisi akademik secara simultan terhadap profesionalisme guru honorer pada Sekolah Dasar di Kecamatan Astanaanyar, Bandung. Hasil ini menjadi petunjuk bahwa semakin tinggi sistem kompensasi dan supervise akademik, akan semakin tinggi pula profesionalisme guru honorer. Dengan mempertimbangkan hasil penelitian, untuk meningkatkan profesionalisme guru di Indonesia – yang diketahui belum mencapai level sesuai harapan, penelitian ini merekomendasikan efektivitas pengelolaan sistem kompensasi dan manajemen supervisi akademik yang memadai. Dimana hal ini perlu memperoleh perhatian dan ditindaklanjuti oleh pemangku kebijakan Pendidikan di level sekolah, pemerintah daerah, dan pemerintah nasional Indonesia.Terakhir, upaya penemuan terhadap faktor-faktor lain yang dapat berimplikasi pada profesionalisme guru, sangat direkomendasikan sebagai penelitian lanjutan. Kata kunci: Kompensasi, Profesionalisme, Supervisi akademik. Teacher professionalism is a crucial aspect in the effort to realize quality education. The literature review indicates that teacher professionalism can be influenced by compensation and academic supervision. However, there has not yet been any research that provides evidence related to honorary teachers. This research aims to describe the compensation system, academic supervision, and professionalism of honorary teachers, and then analyze the extent of the influence of compensation on professionalism, academic supervision on professionalism, as well as the compensation system and academic supervision on the professionalism of honorary teachers at elementary schools in Astanaanyar District, Bandung. Utilizing a quantitative approach of descriptive and correlational analysis, a closed-ended statement questionnaire with a Likert scale model was chosen as the data collection technique. This research successfully obtained responses from 127 participants who were designated as the research sample. The data analysis model uses path analysis with the support of AMOS version 26 software as a supporting tool. The research results show: (1) the compensation system for honorary teachers at elementary schools in the Astanaanyar district of Bandung falls into the good category. (2) academic supervision for honorary teachers at elementary schools in the Astanaanyar district of Bandung falls into the good category. (3) professionalism among honorary teachers at elementary schools in the Astanaanyar district of Bandung falls into the very good category. (4) There is a significant influence of compensation on the professionalism of honorary teachers at elementary schools in the Astanaanyar district of Bandung. (5) There is a significant influence of academic supervision on the professionalism of honorary teachers at elementary schools in the Astanaanyar district of Bandung. (6) There is a simultaneous influence of compensation and academic supervision on the professionalism of honorary teachers at elementary schools in the Astanaanyar district of Bandung. This result indicates that the higher the compensation system and academic supervision, the higher the professionalism of honorary teachers. Considering the research results, to improve the professionalism of teachers in Indonesia – which is known to have not yet reached the expected level, this study recommends the effectiveness of compensation system management and adequate academic supervision management. This matter needs to receive attention and be followed up on by education policymakers at the school level, local government, and the national government of Indonesia. Lastly, efforts to identify other factors that may impact teacher professionalism are highly recommended for further research. Keywords: Academic Supervision, Compensation, Professionalism
