    Abstract

    Latar belakang. Prestasi akademik merupakan salah satu indikator keberhasilan pendidikan yang mencerminkan kemampuan intelektual dan usaha belajar mahasiswa. Sementara itu, sikap caring menjadi elemen penting dalam profesi keperawatan, karena berperan dalam memberikan pelayanan kesehatan yang holistik dan berkualitas. Mahasiswa keperawatan dituntut untuk mengimplementasikan dan menumbuhkan sikap caring sejak proses pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian untuk menganalisis hubungan antara prestasi akademik dengan sikap caring mahasiswa program profesi Ners. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan desain kuantitatif dengan pendekatan korelasional. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner sikap caring CBI-42 yang dikembangkan berdasarkan teori Jean Watson dan nilai indeks prestasi kumulatif (IPK) mahasiswa sebagai representasi prestasi akademik. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 47 mahasiswa program profesi Ners Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia Kampus Sumedang, yang dipilih dengan teknik total sampling. Hasil uji statistik dengan menggunakan Uji Chi-Square dengan uji Continuity Correction diperoleh nilai p=0,460 menunjukan nilai p>0,05 maka H0 diterima dan hipotesis alternatif (Ha) ditolak, yang berarti tidak ada hubungan antara prestasi akademik dengan sikap caring pada mahasiswa Ners di Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia kampus Sumedang. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini berarti tidak ada hubungan antara prestasi akademik dengan sikap caring pada mahasiswa Ners di Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia kampus Sumedang. Background. Academic achievement is an indicator of educational success that reflects students' intellectual abilities and learning efforts. Meanwhile, a caring attitude is an important element in the nursing profession, because it plays a role in providing holistic and quality health services. Nursing students are required to implement and foster a caring attitude since the learning process. This research aims to analyze the relationship between academic achievement and the caring attitude of students in the Nursing professional program. Method uses this research a quantitative design with a correlational approach. Data was collected through the CBI-42 caring attitude questionnaire which was developed based on Jean Watson's theory and students' cumulative achievement index (GPA) as a representation of academic achievement. The research sample consisted of 47 students from the Ners profession program at the Indonesian Education University, Sumedang Campus, who were selected using a total sampling technique. The results of statistical tests using the Chi-Square Test with the Continuity Correction test obtained a value of p=0.460, indicating a value of p>0.05, so H0 was accepted and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was rejected, which means there is no relationship between academic achievement and caring attitudes in nursing students. at the Indonesian University of Education, Sumedang campus. Conclusion of this study means that there is no relationship between academic achievement and caring attitudes in Nurse students at the University of Education Indonesia Sumedang campus.
