Abstract
Penelitian ini merancang media edukasi digital berbasis Website yang memberikan informasi tentang perawatan hamster dengan cara yang menarik dan mudah dipahami oleh remaja. Mengacu pada prinsip dan tujuan dari Suistainable Development Goals (SGDs) poin ke-3 yakni Kehidupan Sehat dan Sejahtera, dibutuhkannya pendidikan dan kesadaran publik akan kesejahteraan hewan. Hal ini melibatkan pemahaman mengenai penanganan yang tepat pada hamster. Kurangnya media informasi mengenai penanganan hamster menjadikan tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menciptakan media edukasi digital tentang perawatan hamster yang interaktif, mudah diakses kapan saja dan di mana saja, dengan memanfaatkan elemen multimedia seperti teks, gambar, dan animasi. Metode yang digunakan dalam perancangan Website ini adalah Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) yang terdiri dari empat tahapan yaitu Analysis, Design, Implementation, dan Integration & Test. Pada tahap analisis, peneliti menganalisis kebutuhan sistem dan pengguna. Pada tahap desain, peneliti membuat desain sistem dan antarmuka. Selanjutnya, pada tahap implementasi, peneliti melakukan pengkodean untuk merancang Website dengan bantuan beberapa framework guna mempermudah proses tersebut. Setelah perancangan Website selesai, peneliti melakukan tiga tahap pengujian yaitu uji validasi materi, uji validasi media, dan pengujian blackbox. Setelah hasil pengujian sesuai dengan yang diharapkan, peneliti melakukan uji kegunaan (Usability Testing) pada 50 responden remaja berusia 12-24 tahun dan mendapatkan hasil yang sangat baik dengan kategori "Sangat Layak". ----------------- This study designs a digital educational media based on a Website that provides information about hamster care in an engaging and easily understandable manner for teenagers. Referring to the principles and goals of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) point number 3, which is Good Health and Well-being, there is a need for education and public awareness regarding animal welfare. This involves understanding the proper handling of hamsters. The lack of informational media on animal handling, particularly for hamsters, is the motivation behind this study, which aims to create a digital educational media about hamster care that is interactive, easily accessible anytime and anywhere, utilizing multimedia elements such as text, images, and animations. The method used in designing this Website is the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), which consists of four stages: Analysis, Design, Implementation, and Integration & Testing. In the analysis stage, the researchers analyze system and user requirements. In the design stage, the researchers create system and interface designs. Subsequently, in the implementation stage, the researchers perform coding to design the Website with the help of several frameworks to facilitate the process. After the Website design is completed, the researchers conduct three testing stages: material validation testing, media validation testing, and blackbox testing. Once the test results meet expectations, the researchers conduct usability testing on 50 teenage respondents aged 12-24 years, resulting in an excellent rating categorized as "Highly Suitable”
