Abstract

Pengetahuan mengenai pendidikan seks anak sangat penting dimiliki oleh orang tua sebagai bekal bagi dirinya dalam memahami bagaimana seharusnya mengajarkan pendidikan seks pada anak-anaknya agar dapat melindungi dan mengenalkan anak pada sistem kesehatan reproduksinya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana tingkat pengetahuan orang tua tentang pendidikan seks pada anak usia dini di Taman Kanak-kanak Asih Sukarapih Kecamatan Cibeureum Kabupaten Kuningan. Metode yang digunakan dalam ini adalah metode survei deskriptif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh orang tua Taman Kanak-kanak Asih Sukarapi Kecamatan Cibeureum Kebupaten Kuningan dengan jumlah 115 orang. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian yang menggunakan total sampling, sehingga seluruh populasi dijadikan sampel penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa tingkat pengetahuan orang tua murid Taman Kanak-kanak Asih ini tentang pendidikan seks anak usia dini berada dalam kategori tinggi, yaitu mencapai presentase sebanyak 74% pada kategori tinggi & sangat tinggi dan untuk presentase rendahnya sebanyak 26% pada kategori cukup & terendah. Keterbatasan dalam penelitian ini yaitu kuesioner hanya mencakup tentang tiga aspek pendidikan seks untuk anak usia dini, dirasa kurang menggali secara dalam mengenai berbagai aspek-aspek pendidikan seks untuk anak usia dini. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, maka peneliti merekomendasikan kepada peneliti selanjutnya agar dapat lebih banyak membahas aspek-aspek pendidikan seks untuk anak usia dini dan dengan menggunakan metode penelitian serta teknik pengumpulan data yang lebih variatif. Knowledge about child sex education is very important that parents have as a provision for themselves in understanding how they should teach sex education to their children in order to protect and introduce children to the reproductive health system. This study aims to determine the extent of parental knowledge about sex education in early childhood in kindergarten Asih Sukarapih, Cibeureum District, Kuningan Regency. The method used in this method is descriptive survey method. The population in this study were all parents of kindergarten Asih Sukarapi, Cibeureum District, Kuningan District with a total of 115 people. This study is a study that uses total sampling, so that the entire population is used as a research sample. The results showed that the level of knowledge of Asih Kindergarten students about early childhood sex education was in the high category, reaching a percentage of 74% in the high & very high category and for a low percentage of 26% in the moderate & lowest category . The limitation in this study is that the questionnaire only covers three aspects of sex education for young children, it is felt that they have not delved deeply into the various aspects of sex education for early childhood. Based on the results of this study, the researcher recommends further researchers to be able to discuss more aspects of sex education for early childhood and by using more varied research methods and data collection techniques.
