Abstract

Gangguan Spektrum Autisme adalah kategori ketidakmampuan yang ditandai dengan adanya gangguan dalam komunikasi dan interaksi sosial. Berbagai hambatan anak gangguan spektrum autis dalam berkomunikasi dua arah berdampak pada rendahnya pengetahuan bahasa pada anak. Gangguan perkembangan bahasa anak gangguan spektrum autis dapat diatasi melalui penggunaan metode floortime. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui atau memperoleh data tentang seberapa besar pengaruh pendekatan floortime terhadap peningkatan komunikasi pada anak gangguan spektrum autisme di PKBM Bina Cita Indonesia. Untuk mencapai tujuan penelitian, peneliti menggunakan metode Single Subject Research (SSR) melalui rancangan desain A1-B-A2. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah melalui tes. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan oleh peneliti adalah dengan menggunakan analisis dalam kondisi serta analisis antar kondisi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada baseline 1 A1 (sebelum perlakuan floortime) yang menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan tersebut berada dalam kategori kurang dalam kemampuan komunikasi verbal maupun non-verbal. Kemudian, pada kondisi intervensi (selama perlakuan floortime) di mana kemampuan tersebut termasuk dalam kategori cukup dalam kemampuan komunikasi verbal maupun non-verbal. Selanjutnya, berdasarkan hasil analisis pada baseline 2 A2 (setelah perlakuan floortime), dan kemampuan ini sekarang berada dalam kategori cukup signifikan dalam kemampuan komunikasi verbal maupun non-verbal. Simpulan dari hasil penelitian adalah adanya peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi verbal dan non-verbal pada anak gangguan spektrum autis karena bantuan metode floortime. Autism Spectrum Disorder is a category of disability characterized by impairments in communication and social interaction. Various obstacles for children with autism spectrum disorders in two-way communication have an impact on the low knowledge of language in children. Language development disorders in children with autism spectrum disorders can be overcome through the use of the floortime method . This study aims to determine or obtain data on how much influence the floortime approach has on improving communication in children with autism spectrum disorders at PKBM Bina Cita Indonesia. To achieve the research objectives, researchers used the Single Subject Research (SSR) method through the A1-B-A2 design. The data collection technique used was through tests. The data analysis technique used by researchers is to use analysis within conditions and analysis between conditions. The results showed that in baseline 1A1 (before floortime treatment) which showed that the ability was in the category of less in verbal and non-verbal communication skills. Then, in the intervention condition (during floortime treatment) where the ability is included in the sufficient category in verbal and non-verbal communication skills. Furthermore, based on the results of the analysis at baseline 2A2 (after floortime treatment), and this ability is now in the category of quite significant in verbal and non-verbal communication skills. The conclusion of the research is that there is an increase in verbal and non-verbal communication skills in children with autism spectrum disorders due to the help of the floortime method .
