Abstract
Skripsi ini berjudul “Kesenian Kohkol Cangkilung Di desa Panjalu Kecamatan Panjalu Kabupaten Ciamis” yang bertujuan untuk memaparkan dan mendeskripsikan masalah tentang fungsi pertunjukan, fungsi waditra dan komposisi musik pada kesenian kohkol cangkilung. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif yang dibantu dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Seluruh data yang terhimpun diolah melalui teknik reduksi, display, analisis dan verivikasi data. Hasil temuan penelitian ini adalah fungsi pertunjukan kesenian kohkol cangkilung sebagai presentasi estetis, tontonan, hiburan pribadi dan media pendidikan. Fungsi waditra sebagai wirahma dan hiasan gending, dan komposisi musik ditulis secara tekstual dengan bentuk isyarat dan dibagi berdasarkan motif yang selanjutnya ditungkan kedalam bentuk partitur atau score. Semua temuan tersebut diharapkan mempunyai kebermanfaatan bagi Grup KAI, masyarakat umum dan lembaga pendidikan. This study discusses about "the art of kohkol cangkilung in Panjalu village Panjalu Sub-District Ciamis District" which aims to explain and describe the problem of show function, waditra function and music composition of kohkol cangkilung art . The method used is descriptive qualitative approach aided by observation , interviews , and documentation . All data collected is processed through reduction techniques , display , analysis and verification of data . The findings of this research is the function of show the art of kohkol cangkilung as aesthetic presentation , spectacle , personal entertainment and educational media .Waditra function as wirahma and hiasan gending , and musical compositions written textual cues forms and motifs are further divided based on poured in the form of scores. All these findings are expected to have usefulness for KAI Group , the general public and educational institutions .
