Abstract
Sudut baca dan pohon literasi merupakan salah satu media penunjang dalam Grakan Literasi Sekolah (GLS). Kegiatan membaca di kelas, dapat menggunakan koleksi buku yang tersimpan pada rak buku sudut baca. Setelah kegiatan membaca, peserta didik dapat menuliskan catatan hasil bacaan kemudian menempelkannya pada pohon literasi. Fokus penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan kondisi sudut baca, kondisi pohon literasi, serta pemanfaatan sudut baca dan pohon literasi di SDN A, SDN B, dan SDN C Kota Tasikmalaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif, sehingga perolehan data bersumber dari hasil observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumen. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik Miles & Huberman yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Penelitian ini penting untuk diteliti, karena di tiga SD tersebut memiliki sudut baca dan pohon literasi yang menjadi fokus penelitian, namun belum diketahui apakah kondisi sudut baca dan pohon literasi sudah atau belum sesuai dengan indikator. Indikator ketercapaian kondisi sudut baca yakni penamaan istilah sudut baca, desain sudut baca, ketersediaan rak buku, jenis buku bacaan, serta ketersediaan buku rekap baca. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tiga SD sudah memenuhi standar ketercapaian indikator sudut baca pada aspek desain dan jenis koleksi buku bacaan. Pada kondisi pohon literasi, tiga SD sudah memenuhi standar ketercapaian indikator pohon literasi yaitu kekokohan, keamanan penggunaan, dan kemenarikan tampilan. Reading corners and literacy trees are one of the supporting media in the School Literacy Movement (GLS). Reading activities in class can use a collection of books stored on the reading corner bookshelf. After reading activities, students can write down notes from reading results and then stick them on the literacy tree. The focus of this study is to describe the condition of the reading corner, the condition of the literacy tree, and the use of reading corners and literacy trees in SDN A, SDN B, and SDN C, Tasikmalaya City. This study uses a qualitative research method, so that data acquisition comes from the results of observations, interviews, and document studies. The data analysis technique uses the Miles & Huberman technique which includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. This study is important to study, because the three elementary schools have reading corners and literacy trees that are the focus of the study, but it is not yet known whether the condition of the reading corners and literacy trees is in accordance with the indicators or not. Indicators of achieving reading corner conditions are the naming of reading corner terms, reading corner design, availability of bookshelves, types of reading books, and availability of reading recap books. The results of the study indicate that three elementary schools have met the achievement standards for reading corner indicators in terms of design and types of reading book collections. In terms of literacy tree conditions, three elementary schools have met the achievement standards for literacy tree indicators, namely sturdiness, safety of use, and attractiveness of appearance.
