Abstract

Bencana alam yang sering terjadi di Indonesia diakibatkan oleh pertemuan 3 lempeng aktif dunia. Salah satu bencana akibat situasi ini yaitu gempa bumi. Gempa bumi merupakan bencana alam yang dapat mengakibatkan kerusakan dan korban jiwa. Maka dari itu, perlu pemahaman terkait literasi bencana untuk mengurangi risiko dan dampak bahaya bencana. Pentingnya kemampuan literasi bencana bagi keberlangsungan hidup setiap individu yang hidup berdampingan dengan alam yang membuat literasi bencana perlu diterapkan dan dibudayakan sejak dini baik di lingkungan sekolah maupun di luar sekolah. Pembudayaan literasi bencana dapat berjalan apabila didukung oleh fasilitas yang memadai, di antaranya tersedia media untuk kegiatan literasi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk mengembangkan media untuk memfasilitasi literasi bencana peserta didik di sekolah dasar. Model pengembangan yang digunakan yaitu, model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation). Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu melalui wawancara, observasi, studi dokumen, penilaian ahli, dan angket respons pendidik dan peserta didik. Dari hasil studi pendahuluan didapatkan analisis kebutuhan peserta didik masih kebingungan dalam mitigasi bencana. Dilakukan perancangan buku saku mitigasi bencana gempa bumi dengan menggunakan canva. Hasil penelitian pengembangan ini memperoleh produk media buku saku mitigasi bencana gempa bumi untuk memfasilitasi literasi bencana di sekolah dasar. Hasil penilaian dari dua ahli bidang, yakni ahli materi literasi bencana dan ahli bidang media menyatakan produk media permainan ludo ‘layak’ digunakan untuk memfasilitasi literasi bencana peserta didik. Hal ini diperkuat dengan hasil uji kepraktisan kepada pendidik dan peserta didik dengan hasil pada uji coba I memperoleh nilai kepraktiasan sebesar 95% dari peserta didik dan 100% dari pendidik. Kemudian pada uji coba II memperoleh nilai kepraktisan sebesar 99% dari respons peserta didik dan 100% dari respons pendidik. Dengan demikian, membuktikan bahwa produk media buku saku yang dikembangkan ‘sangat praktis’ digunakan untuk memfasilitasi literasi bencana peserta didik di sekolah dasar. Natural disasters that often occur in Indonesia are caused by the meeting of 3 active world plates. One of the disasters caused by this situation is earthquakes. Earthquakes are natural disasters that can cause damage and loss of life. Therefore, it is necessary to understand disaster literacy to reduce the risk and impact of disaster hazards. The importance of disaster literacy skills for the survival of every individual who lives side by side with nature makes disaster literacy need to be applied and cultivated from an early age both in the school environment and outside of school. The cultivation of disaster literacy can run if supported by adequate facilities, including the availability of media for literacy activities. The purpose of this study was to develop media to facilitate disaster literacy for students in elementary schools. The development model used is the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The data collection techniques used were through interviews, observations, document studies, expert assessments, and questionnaires of educator and student responses. From the results of the preliminary study, it was obtained that the analysis of student needs was still confused about disaster mitigation. A pocketbook on earthquake disaster mitigation was designed using Canva. The results of this development research obtained a media product for a pocketbook on earthquake disaster mitigation to facilitate disaster literacy in elementary schools. The results of the assessment by two experts in the field, namely disaster literacy material experts and media experts, stated that the ludo game media product was 'suitable' for use to facilitate students' disaster literacy. This was reinforced by the results of the practicality test on educators and students with the results of trial I am obtaining a practicality value of 95% from students and 100% from educators. Then in trial II, a practicality value of 99% was obtained from student responses and 100% from educator responses. Thus, it proves that the pocketbook media product developed is 'very practical' for use to facilitate students' disaster literacy in elementary schools.
