Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan toilet training anak dengan spektrum autis melalui penerapan teknik modelling. Berdasarkan hasil observasi, terdapat seorang anak yang memiliki kemampuan toilet training yang masih tergolong cukup rendah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan Single Subject Research (SSR). Desain yang digunakan, yaitu desain A-B-A. subjek pada penelitian ini adalab seorang siswa dengan gangguan spektrum autis berinial A kelas V di SLB Negeri Bandung Barat. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan tes kinerja. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan analisis visual yang disajikan dalam bentuk grafik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan teknik modelling dapat meningkatkan kemampuan toilet training pada anak dengan spektrum autis. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan adanya peningkatan hasil mean level pada baseline 1 (A-1) sebesar 42,8%, fase intervensi (B) sebesar 71,39%, dan fase baseline 2 (A-2) sebesar 92,8%. Pengaruh juga dapat dilihat dari persentase overlap. Persentase overlap antar kondisi baseline 1 (A-1) ke intervensi (B) yaitu 0% dan fase intervensi (B) ke baseline 2 (A-2) yaitu 0%. Di mana semakin kecil persentase overlap maka semakin baik pengaruh intervensinya. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan teknik modelling berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan kemampuan toilet training pada anak dengan spektrum autis di SLB Negeri Bandung Barat. Based on the results of observations, there is a child who has a toilet training ability that is still quite low. This study uses a quantitative method with a Single Subject Research (SSR) approach. The design used is the A-B-A design. The subject in this study was a student with autism spectrum disorder with the initials A in class V at SLB Negeri Bandung Barat. Data collection was carried out using a performance test. The data obtained were analyzed using visual analysis presented in graphical form. The results showed that applying modeling techniques can improve toilet training skills in children with autism spectrum. This is indicated by an increase in the mean level results at baseline 1 (A-1) by 42.8%, the intervention phase (B) by 71.39%, and the baseline phase 2 (A-2) by 92.8%. The effect can also be seen from the percentage of overlap. The percentage of overlap between baseline conditions 1 (A-1) to intervention (B) is 0% and the intervention phase (B) to baseline 2 (A-2) is 0%. Where the smaller the percentage of overlap, the better the effect of the intervention. Based on the data obtained, it can be concluded that the application of modeling techniques has an impact on improving toilet training skills in children with autism spectrum at SLB Negeri Bandung Barat.
