Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan karena tingkat kemandirian anak beragam termasuk anak-anak di TK Joy Kids National Plus, peneliti melihat kemandirian anak kelompok B di Taman Kanak-Kanak tersebut belum terstimulasi secara optimal. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model project based learning terhadap kemandirian anak. Penelitian dilakukan di TK Joy Kids National Plus, dengan subjek penelitian 40 anak kelompok B yang terdiri dari 20 anak di kelas eksperimen dan 20 anak di kelas kontrol. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian nonequivalent control group desain. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada tanggal 6 Mei 14 Juni 2024. Hasil penelitian ini memuat deskripsi proses kegiatan pembelajaran di kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol, kemampuan awal kemandirian anak dengan rata-rata 9.85 pada kelas eksperimen dan 10.65 pada kelas kontrol. Hasil belajar kemandirian anak dengan rata-rata 11.25 pada kelas eksperimen dan 10.80 pada kelas kontrol, serta perbedaan hasil belajar kemandirian anak di kelas eksperimen dan di kelas kontrol dengan hasil rata-rata N-Gain 1.54 pada kelas eksperimen dan 0.16 pada kelas kontrol. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar antara kelas eksperimen dan kontrol yang menunjukkan dari pemberian treatment pada kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol. This research was conducted because the level of independence of children varies, including children in the Joy Kids National Plus Kindergarten. Researchers saw that the independence of group B children in the Kindergarten had not been stimulated optimally. Therefore, this research aims to determine the effect of the project based learning model on children's independence. The research was conducted at the Joy Kids National Plus Kindergarten, with research subjects being 40 group B children consisting of 20 children in the experimental class and 20 children in the control class. The research method used was quasi-experimental with a nonequivalent control group research design. This research was conducted on 6 May 14 June 2024. The results of this research contain a description of the process of learning activities in the experimental class and control class, children's initial independent abilities with an average of 9.85 in the experimental class and 10.65 in the control class. Children's independent learning outcomes with an average of 11.25 in the experimental class and 10.80 in the control class, as well as differences in children's independent learning outcomes in the experimental class and in the control class with an average N-Gain result of 1.54 in the experimental class and 0.16 in the control class. It can be concluded that there are differences in learning outcomes between the experimental and control classes, which shows that the treatment provided in the experimental class was higher than in the control class.
