Abstract

Kemampuan mengenal angka sangat penting untuk dikembangkan pada usia dini agar anak dapat lebih menguasai konsep angka atau lambang bilangan pada jenjang selanjutnya. Guru berperan sebagai pemberi rangsangan terhadap kemampuan mengenal angka anak, salah satunya dengan memberikan pembelajaran yang optimal menggunakan sumber belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sumber belajar buku ASBA (Aku Senang Belajar Angka) untuk memfasilitasi kemampuan mengenal angka anak usia dini khususnya anak usia 5-6 tahun, yang berdasarkan pada hasil kebutuhan dari studi literatur dan studi pendahuluan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan model dari McKenney dan Reeves, yaitu model Educational Design Research (EDR). Tahapan dalam penelitian ini mengikuti tahapan EDR, yaitu tahap analisis dan eksplorasi, tahap desain dan konstruksi, tahap evaluasi dan refleksi, serta untuk uji kelayakan terdapat tahap kelayakan produk. Dalam penelitian ini sumber data diperoleh dari guru dan anak kelompok B TKA Sulalatul Huda dan TKQ Ar-Rahmah. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian ini, seperti wawancara, validasi ahli, observasi, serta angket/kuesioner. Setelah itu, peneliti melaksanakan uji coba terbatas pada produk sebanyak dua kali yang bertempat di TKA Sulalatul Huda dan TKQ Ar-Rahmah. Hasil Penelitian menunjukan bahwa buku ASBA (Aku Senang Belajar Angka) untuk memfasilitasi kemampuan mengenal angka anak usia dini layak dan efektif digunakan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran pada jenjang pendidikan anak usia dini. The ability to recognize numbers is very important to develop at an early age so that children can understand well the concept of numbers or number symbols into the next level. Teachers play a role as providers of stimulation for the children's ability to recognize numbers by providing optimal learning using learning resources. This study aims to develop a learning resource book ASBA (Aku Senang Belajar Angka) to facilitate/stimulate the ability to recognize numbers for early childhood stage, especially children aged around 5-6 years, which based on the results of literature studies and preliminary studies. The research method used in this study uses the model from McKenney and Reeves, the Educational Design Research (EDR) model. The stages in this study follow the EDR stages, such as the analysis and exploration stage, the design and construction stage, the evaluation and reflection stage, and product result feasibility stage for the feasibility test. In this research, the data sources were obtained from teachers and the children of group B in TKA Sulalatul Huda and TKQ Ar-Rahmah. Data collection techniques used in this study include interviews, validation from experts, observation, and questionnaires. Then the researcher conducted a limited trial on the product results twice which took place at TKA Sulalatul Huda and TKQ Ar-Rahmah. The results of the study showed that the ASBA (Aku Senang Belajar Angka) book to facilitate/stimulate the ability to recognize numbers for early childhood is feasible and effective to be used in learning activities at the early childhood education level.
