Abstract

ABSTRAK PENGARUH TEKNIK COGNITIVE BEHAVIORAL MODIFICATION TERHADAP PENGURANGAN PERILAKU AGRESIF NON-VERBAL PADA PESERTA DIDIK TUNALARAS KELAS X DI SLB PURNAMA ASIH BANDUNG (Divannia Shayna Rahmaellery Putri Mosvita, 2006342) Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh teknik Cognitive Behavioral Modification (CBM) terhadap pengurangan perilaku agresif non-verbal pada peserta didik tunalaras kelas X di SLB Purnama Asih Bandung. Perilaku agresif non-verbal sering menjadi tantangan di kalangan anak tunalaras, yang ditandai dengan kesulitan dalam mengontrol emosi dan cenderung berdampak negatif bagi diri sendiri maupun lingkungan sekitarnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode single subject research dengan desain penelitian A-B-A, di mana subjek penelitian adalah anak tunalaras yang mengalami kesulitan dalam mengendalikan emosi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, dengan menghitung frekuensi perilaku agresif non-verbal dalam setiap pertemuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan teknik Cognitive Behavioral Modification (CBM) berpengaruh terhadap pengurangan frekuensi perilaku agresif non-verbal pada peserta didik tunalaras. Implikasi penelitian ini adalah guru dapat menerapkan teknik cognitive behavior modification untuk mengurangi perilaku agresif non-verbal pada anak dengan hambatan emosi dan perilaku ABSTRACT THE EFFECT OF COGNITIVE BEHAVIORAL MODIFICATION TECHNIQUES ON REDUCING NON-VERBAL AGGRESSIVE BEHAVIOR IN EMOTIONALLY DISTURBED (TUNALARAS) GRADE X STUDENTS AT SLB PURNAMA ASIH BANDUNG (Divannia Shayna Rahmaellery Putri Mosvita, 2006342) This study aims to examine the effect of Cognitive Behavioral Modification (CBM) techniques on reducing non-verbal aggressive behavior in emotionally disturbed (tunalaras) Grade X students at SLB Purnama Asih Bandung. Non-verbal aggressive behavior often presents challenges among tunalaras students, marked by difficulties in controlling emotions, which tend to negatively impact both themselves and their surroundings. This research employs a single-subject research method with an A-B-A design, focusing on a student who struggles with emotional regulation. Data collection was conducted through observation, by counting the frequency of non-verbal aggressive behaviors in each session. The results of this study indicate that the application of CBM techniques effectively reduces the frequency of non-verbal aggressive behaviors in tunalaras students. The implications of this study suggest that teachers can apply cognitive behavior modification techniques to reduce non-verbal aggressive behaviors in children with emotional and behavioral disorders.
