Abstract

Teaching teachers in elementary schools frequently limit their understanding of literacy learning in elementary schools to reading and writing abilities. However, literacy skills in the 21st century involve not only reading and writing skills but also comprehension, analysis, and the expression of feelings and views. This research project utilized the ADDIE development approach, which includes observation, interviews, and questionnaires, to create a differentiated literacy learning model based on the Qur'an. The following are the five stages that this approach goes through: an analysis of the needs and characteristics of the students, the design of integrated learning with the Qur'an, the development of strategies and materials, the implementation in trials, and an evaluation of the learning outcomes and social-emotional intelligence. This approach not only dramatically enhanced students' literacy, but it also strengthened their social-emotional intelligence, as indicated by an increase in involvement and pleasant interactions both inside and outside of the classroom. The findings of the study showed that this model was effective in helping students improve their literacy. Experts regarded this approach as being extremely practicable and applicable to today's world. The findings of this research significantly contribute to the field of holistic literacy education, considering the ethical and spiritual principles outlined in the Qur'an.
