Abstract

The Merdeka Curriculum requires teachers to reflect on their teaching practices. However, many teachers do not engage in this practice. Consequently, teachers still frequently encounter challenges during the learning process. The purpose of this study is to describe the reflection of Geography teachers in the learning process at High School in Bekasi, identify barriers in the learning process, and analyze strategies to overcome these barriers. This research uses a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. Data collection was conducted through the administration of questionnaires and interviews to 22 Geography teachers at High Schools in Bekasi, who constituted the research sample. The results of this study indicated that the majority of teachers (82%) have reflected on the learning process at a level that may be described as "good." This encompasses aspects such as lesson planning, implementation, assessment, and reporting of learning outcomes. The barriers or challenges that many teachers experience are difficulties in developing teaching modules, challenges in conditioning learning in class, and problems with devices and internet networks when accessing the assessment platform. Based on the results of this reflection, teachers devise alternative solutions and strive to enhance their pedagogical abilities with the aim of enhancing the quality of learning in the classroom.
