Abstract
Sampah menjadi tantangan besar bagi Kota Bandung, dengan 30 Tempat Pembuangan Sementara (TPS) yang mengalami kelebihan kapasitas. Tanpa pengelolaan yang baik, sampah dapat menimbulkan pencemaran dan dampak negatif terhadap kesehatan dan lingkungan. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan upaya berkelanjutan untuk mengurangi sampah dan menerapkan konsep zero waste melalui budaya 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle). Maka dari itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis persepsi dan Sikap Peserta Didik dalam Melaksanakan Budaya 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recyle) menuju Kota Bandung yang bebas sampah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif untuk menganalisa sikap dan persepsi siswa terhadap budaya 3R di dua sekolah: SMP Negeri 18 Bandung (sekolah Adiwiyata) dan SMP Labschool UPI (non-Adiwiyata). Metode yang digunakan adalah survei untuk mengumpulkan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa di SMP Negeri 18 Bandung memiliki skor implementasi budaya 3R (3.693) dan persepsi (5.281) yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan SMP Labschool UPI (3.109 dan 4.940). Selain itu, sikap siswa di SMP Negeri 18 Bandung (4.599) juga lebih positif dibandingkan di SMP Labschool UPI (4.200). Siswa di SMP Negeri 18 Bandung, yang merupakan sekolah Adiwiyata, menunjukkan kesadaran dan sikap yang lebih baik terhadap budaya 3R dibandingkan dengan siswa di SMP Labschool UPI. Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa program Adiwiyata berpotensi memberikan dampak positif dalam membentuk sikap dan persepsi siswa mengenai pengelolaan sampah dan budaya 3R. Waste is a big challenge for Bandung City, with 30 temporary disposal sites (TPS) experiencing overcapacity. Without proper management, waste can cause pollution and negative impacts on health and the environment. Therefore, sustainable efforts are needed to reduce waste and implement the concept of zero waste through the 3R culture (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle). Therefore, this study aims to analyze the perceptions and attitudes of students in implementing the 3R culture (Reduce, Reuse, Recyle) towards a waste-free Bandung City. This study uses a quantitative approach to analyze students' attitudes and perceptions of the 3R culture in two schools: SMP Negeri 18 Bandung (Adiwiyata school) and SMP Labschool UPI (non-Adiwiyata). The method used was a survey to collect data. The results showed that students at SMP Negeri 18 Bandung had higher 3R culture implementation (3,693) and perception (5,281) scores than SMP Labschool UPI (3,109 and 4,940). In addition, student attitudes at SMP Negeri 18 Bandung (4.599) were also more positive than at SMP Labschool UPI (4.200). Students at SMP Negeri 18 Bandung, which is an Adiwiyata school, showed better awareness and attitude towards the 3R culture compared to students at SMP Labschool UPI. This indicates that the Adiwiyata program has the potential to have a positive impact in shaping students' attitudes and perceptions regarding waste management and 3R culture.
