Abstract

Pembelajaran outdoor merupakan kegiatan menarik dan menyenangkan di luar kelas yang dapat dilakukan dimana saja. Pendekatan ini menekankan pada proses pembelajaran yang didasarkan pada hal-hal yang terjadi di dunia nyata dan dilaksanakan secara langsung. Pendekatan ini bertujuan agar siswa dapat belajar lebih mendalam melalui materi yang diajarkan secara langsung. Saat ini, keterampilan berpikir kreatif merupakan bagian dari keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi, keterampilan tersebut berguna untuk meningkatkan keerampialn proses dan hasil belajar dalam proses belajar mengajar. Selain keterampilan kreativitaas, pemahaman konsep juga sangat penting agar setiap pembelajaran lebih bermakna terutama siswa yang minar belajarnya kurang dikarenakan monotonnya metode belajar. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur peran pendekatanoutdoor learning terhadap pemahaman konsep dan kreativitas siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan one group pretest dan posttest design dengan diberi perlakuan pendekatanoutdoor learning sesudah pretest dansebelum posttest. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan nilai sig=0,000 untuk uji beda dan 0,52 untuk uji n-gain yang berarti pendekatan outdoor learning berpengaruh terhadap pemahaman konsep dan kreativitas siswa kelas IV pada materi bagian tubuh tumbuhan dengan kriteria cukup efektif. Outdoor learning is an interesting and fun activity outside the classroom that can be done anywhere. This approach emphasizes the learning process that is based on things that happen in the real world and is implemented directly. This approach aims to enable students to learn more deeply through the material taught directly. Currently, creative thinking skills are part of higher-level thinking skills, these skills are useful for improving process skills and learning outcomes in the teaching and learning process. In addition to creativity skills, understanding concepts is also very important so that every learning is more meaningful, especially students whose learning skills are lacking due to monotonous learning methods. Therefore, this study aims to measure the role of the outdoor learning approach on students' concept understanding and creativity. This study uses one group pretest and posttest design by being treated with an outdoor learning approach after the pretest and before the posttest. The results of this study showed a value of sig=0.000 for the difference test and 0.52 for the n-gain test, which means that the outdoor learning approach has an effect on the concept understanding and creativity of grade IV students on plant body parts with quite effective criteria.
