Abstract
Tunagrahita memiliki fungsi intelktual dibawah rata-rata dan adanya hambatan dalam perkembangan intelegensi, mental, emosi, sosial dan fisik. Namun fokus penelitian ini dalam keterampilan gerak dasar dan masalah memusatkan perhatiannya secara konsisten. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti peningkatan kemampuan gerak dasar atletik melalui permainan “kids athletics” pada anak tunagrahita. Penelitian ini menggunakan pre-eksperimental, dengan one group pretestposttest design. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan metode Purposive Sampling. Subyek penelitian berjumlah 4 anak tunagrahita di SPLB Cipaganti. Instrumen penelitian pada tes ini menggunakan 3 metode yaitu Tes Lari 20meter (Modifikasi), Tes Ketepatan Lemparan Keranjang (Akurasi) dan Standing Broad Jump. (Tes Kebugaran Jasmani Indonesia Kemendikbud, 2008). Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji hipotesis dengan analisis uji t (Paired Sample t-test). Hasil penelitian melalui analisis uji t Paired Sample t-test pada Lari 20 m, Standing Broad Jump, Ketepatan Lemparan Keranjang memperoleh hasil Thitung > Ttabel dengan signififikasi 5%, dengan presentase peningkatan sebesar 2.34%. Maka dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa Terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan antara kids athletics terhadap kemampuan gerak dasar atletik anak tunagrahita.Kata kunci: Permainan Kids Athletics, Gerak Dasar Athletik, Tunagrahita. The mentally impaired have below-average intellectual functioning and barriers in intellectual, mental, emotional, social and physical development. However, the focus of this study is on basic movement skills and focus problems consistently. This study aims to examine the improvement of basic athletic movement skills through "kids athletics" games for children with intellectual disabilities. This research uses pre-experimental, with a one group pretestposttest design. Sampling technique with Purposive Sampling method. The research subjects amounted to 4 tunagrahita children at SPLB Cipaganti. The research instruments in this test used 3 methods, namely the 20 metre Run Test (Modified), the Basketball Throwing Accuracy Test (Accuracy) and the Standing Broad Jump. (Indonesian Physical Fitness Test Kemendikbud, 2008). The data analysis technique uses hypothesis testing with t test analysis (Paired Sample t-test). The results of the study through the analysis of the t test (Paired Sample t-test) on the 20 m Run, Standing Broad Jump, Accuracy of Throws into the Basket obtained the results of Thitung> Ttabel with a significance of 5%, with a percentage increase of 2,34%. Then it can be concluded that there is a significant increase between kids athletics on the basic athletic movement skills of children with disabilities.
