Abstract
Latar belakang dalam penelitian ini tidak digunakannya Mind mapping dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di sekolah dasar. Penggunaan mind mapping diharapkan dapat membantu peserta didik di sekolah dasar dalam mengeluarkan isi pikiran dan memetakan hasil pengalaman membaca peserta didik. Penggunaan mind mapping dalam pembelajaran memiliki daya tarik sendiri terhadap peserta didik. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan mind mapping terhadap keterampilan menulis ringkasan teks eksplanasi peserta didik kelas V sekolah dasar. Penelitian melibatkan peserta didik kelas V SDN Margajaya II. Metodelogi dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen jenis pre-eksperimen one group design. Hipotesis dalam penelitian ini yaitu H1: Terdapat pengaruh penggunaan mind mapping sebagai media pembelajaran terhadap menulis ringkasan teks eksplanasi peserta didik kelas V Sekolah Dasar, H0: Tidak terdapat pengaruh penggunaan mind mapping sebagai media pembelajaran terhadap menulis ringkasan teks eksplanasi peserta didik kelas V SDN Margajaya II. Hasil Output paired samples test nilai sig (2 tailed) 0,000 < 0,05 maka H1 diterima dan H0 ditolak. Nilai t hitung 22,172 > nilai t tabel 2,10 maka ada pengaruh penggunaan mind mapping terhadap keterampilan menulis ringkasan teks eksplanasi di kelas V SD. The background of this research is the non-use of mind mapping in Indonesian language learning in elementary schools. The use of mind mapping is expected to help elementary school students express their thoughts and map out their reading experiences. Mind mapping in learning has its own appeal to students. The aim of this research is to determine the influence of using mind mapping on the summary writing skills of explanatory texts by fifth-grade elementary school students. The research involves fifth-grade students from SDN Margajaya II. The methodology in this research employs a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental one-group design. The hypothesis in this research is H1: There is an influence of using mind mapping as a learning medium on the summary writing skills of explanatory texts by fifth-grade elementary school students; H0: There is no influence of using mind mapping as a learning medium on the summary writing skills of explanatory texts by fifth-grade students at SDN Margajaya II. The output of the paired samples test shows a sig (2-tailed) value of 0.000 < 0.05, hence H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected. The calculated t-value of 22.172 > t-table value of 2.100922 indicates that there is an influence of using mind mapping on the summary writing skills of explanatory texts in the fifth grade of elementary school.
