Abstract
Isu kesejahteraan guru merupakan salah satu isu yang memerlukan perhatian serius tidak hanya di Indonesia, tetapi juga di beberapa negara lainnya. Seringkali guru dituntut untuk bekerja secara profesional akan tetapi gaji yang diterima tidak seimbang dengan apa yang telah dikerjakan. Kondisi guru PAUD di Indonesia dapat dikatakan memiliki tingkat kesejahteraan yang belum memadai. banyak wacana yang digunakan untuk menormalisasi tingkat kesejahteraan guru yang rendah. Salah satunya adalah wacana sajuta yang artinya sabar jujur dan tawakal yang seringkali dilontarkan untuk bayaran guru PAUD yang mencerminkan sikap bekerja tanpa pamrih. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat makna tersembunyi dalam wacana sajuta untuk guru PAUD. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis wacana kritis (critical discourse analysis) Fairclough (2001). Objek pada penelitian ini adalah teks yang dipublish di media massa, serta wawancara dua guru PAUD. Data dianalisis dengan 3 teknik diantaranya deskripsi, interpretasi dan eksplanasi. Berdasarkan pengolahan data diperoleh bahwa guru-guru PAUD di Indonesia mengalami tekanan profesionalisme, mereka seringkali disalahkan atas kualitas Pendidikan PAUD yang dinilai rendah maka tuntutan kepada mereka untuk meningkatkan kualitas dan kualifikasi pendidikan. Dengan tingginya tuntutan tersebut mereka mengalami ketidakadilan dari segi kesejahteraan. Begitupun juga tidak ada support atau dukungan finansial kepada guru-guru PAUD hingga munculah wacana sajuta. Terdapat tiga makna tersembunyi dalam wacana sajuta diantaranya (1) upaya penghiburan bagi guru PAUD terhadap kesejahteraan yang kurang, (2) Makna sindiran terhadap kesejahteraan guru PAUD yang kurang, dan (3) rasionalisasi pengabdian dan bayaran di surga. The issue of teacher welfare is an issue that requires serious attention not only in Indonesia, but also in several other countries. Often teachers are required to work professionally, but the salary they receive is not commensurate with what they have done. The condition of PAUD teachers in Indonesia can be said to have an inadequate level of welfare. Many discourses are used to normalize the low level of teacher welfare. One of them is the discourse on sajuta, which means patience, honesty and trust, which is often used to pay for PAUD teachers, which reflects an attitude of selfless work. This research aims to see the hidden meanings in sajuta discourse for PAUD teachers. This research uses Fairclough's (2001) critical discourse analysis method. The objects of this research are texts published in the mass media, as well as interviews with two PAUD teachers. Data were analyzed using 3 techniques including description, interpretation and explanation. Based on data processing, it was found that PAUD teachers in Indonesia experience pressure from professionalism, they are often blamed for the quality of PAUD education which is considered low, so demands are made for them to improve the quality and qualifications of education. With these high demands, they experience injustice in terms of welfare. Likewise, there was no support or financial support for PAUD teachers until the talk of millions emerged. There are three hidden meanings in the sajuta discourse, including (1) efforts to comfort PAUD teachers regarding their lack of welfare, (2) the meaning of satire regarding the lack of welfare of PAUD teachers, and (3) rationalization of devotion and payment in heaven.
