    Abstract

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kemandirian dalam
    keberhasilan program MSIB mahasiswa Pendidikan Teknik Arsitektur FPTI Universitas
    Pendidikan Indonesia. Metode penelitian bersampel 16 orang ini menggunakan metode
    kuantitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan mix methods. Desain penelitian kuantitatif
    menggunakan survei penyebaran kuesioner sedangkan desain penelitian kualitatif
    menggunakan Focus Group Discussion (FGD). Analisis data penelitian kuantitatif pada
    kuantil 0.25, 0.5, dan 0.75 menunjukkan nilai berpikir kritis senilai -1.2, 0.465, dan 9.903,
    dan kemandirian senilai 1.089, 0.266, dan -8.386. Hal ini diartikan bahwa adanya pengaruh
    kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kemandirian terhadap keberhasilan program MSIB. Data
    kualitatif juga mendukung analisis statistik yang menunjukkan bahwa saat menjalani
    program MSIB, kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kemandirian seperti mendesain,
    menganalisis, dan menyesuaikan diri di lingkungan baru menjadi salah satu faktor yang
    mempengaruhi keberhasilan program MSIB. Oleh karena itu, kemampuan Berpikir Kritis
    dan Kemandirian efektif dalam mempengaruhi keberhasilan program MSIB mahasiswa
    Pendidikan Teknik Arsitektur.

    This research aims to determine the analysis of critical thinking skills and independence
    on the success of the MSIB programme for students of Architectural Engineering Education
    FPTI Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. This 16-sample research method uses descriptive
    quantitative methods with a mixed methods approach. Quantitative research design uses a
    questionnaire distribution survey while qualitative research design uses Focus Group
    Discussion (FGD). Analysis of quantitative research data at quantiles 0.25, 0.5, and 0.75
    shows the value of critical thinking worth -1.2, 0.465, and 9.903, and independence worth
    1.089, 0.266, and -8.386. This means that there is an influence of critical thinking skills
    and independence on the success of the MSIB programme. The qualitative data also
    supports the statistical analysis which shows that while undergoing the MSIB program,
    critical thinking skills and independence such as designing, analysing, and adjusting to a
    new environment are among the factors that influence the success of the MSIB program.
    Therefore, critical thinking skills and independence are effective in influencing the success
    of the MSIB programme for Architectural Engineering Education students.
