Abstract

Penelitian ini di latar belakangi oleh data berdasarkan hasil observasi yang menunjukan bahwa orang tua kurang baik dalam menjalankan perannya sehingga keterampilan interaksi sosial anak kurang baik. Maka dari itu, peneliti memberikan program peningkatan keterampilan interaksi sosial berbasis keluarga yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan interaksi sosial anak. Selain itu, tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana kondisi objektif keterampilan interaksi sosial siswa, bagaimana kondisi objektif kemampuan orang tua dalam meningkatkan keterampilan interaksi sosial anak, kendala-kendala yang dihadapi orang tua dan upaya mengatasi keterampilan interaksi sosial anak. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah studi kasus dengan pedekatan kualitatif. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah anak MDVI di SLB Pambudi Dharma Cimahi yang memiliki keterampilan interaksi sosial pada tingkat rendah dan orang tua anak MDVI di SLB Pambudi Dharma Cimahi. Data yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini yaitu melalui hasil wawancara dengan orang tua, observasi dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa program yang diberikan dapat meningkatkan keterampilan interaksi sosial anak. This research is motivated by data based on observations which show that parents are not good at carrying out their roles so that children's social interaction skills are poor. Therefore, researchers provide a family-based social interaction skills improvement program which aims to improve children's social interaction skills. Apart from that, the aim of this research is to find out what the objective conditions are of students' social interaction skills, what the objective conditions are of parents' ability to improve children's social interaction skills, the obstacles faced by parents and efforts to overcome children's social interaction skills. The method used in this research is a case study with a qualitative approach. The subjects in this research were MDVI children at SLB Pambudi Dharma Cimahi who had low level social interaction skills and parents of MDVI children at SLB Pambudi Dharma Cimahi. The data obtained from this research is through interviews with parents, observation and documentation studies. The results of this research show that the program provided can improve children's social interaction skills.
