Abstract

Miskonsepsi dapat terjadi pada diri siswa karena siswa tidak mampu dalam mengonstruksi pemahaman konsep yang telah dimiliki dengan pemahaman konsep yang baru didapatkan sehingga siswa seringkali salah mengartikan sebuah konsep. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kelayakan instrumen yang dikembangakan dan untuk mengetahui profil miskonsepsi siswa pada materi lingkungan geosfer: atmosfer pada siswa SMA Negeri Kota Bandung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu mixed methods dengan desain pengembangan educational desingn research. Pengembangan pada penelitian ini memiliki tiga tahapan yaitu preliminary Phase, development or prototyping phase, dan assessment/implementation phase. Uji kelayakan dilakukan melalui uji validitas ahli, validitas empiris, uji reliabilitas, tingkat kesukaran, daya pembeda dan indeks pengecoh. Hasil uji coba validitas dan reliabilitas terhadap instrumen yang dikembangkan menunjukan valid dan reliabel yang menunjukan instrumen yang dikembangkan layak untuk digunakan. Miskonsepsi yang terdeteksi menggunakan instrumen four-tier diagnostic test disertai CRI pada materi atmosfer tara-rata berada dalam kriteria miskonsepsi sedang. Misconceptions can occur in students because students are not able to construct the understanding of concepts they already have with the newly acquired understanding of concepts so that students often misinterpret a concept. The purpose of this study is to determine the feasibility of the instrument developed and to find out the profile of students' misconceptions about the geosphere environment: atmosphere in Bandung City State High School students. The research used is the mix methods method with the design of educational design research development. The development in this study has three stages, namely the preliminary phase, development or prototyping phase, and assessment/implementation phase. The feasibility test was carried out through expert validity tests, empirical validity, reliability tests, difficulty levels, discriminating power and deception indexes. The results of the validity and reliability test of the developed instrument showed that it was valid and reliable, which showed that the developed instrument was suitable for use. Misconceptions detected using four-tier diagnostic test instruments accompanied by CRI on atmospheric materials are in the criteria of moderate misconception.
