Abstract

Pendidikan anak usia dini dan kesetaraan gender merupakan salah satu tujuan dari pembangunan berkelanjutan. Di dalam SDGs poin empat dan SDGs poin lima, baik PAUD maupun kesetaraan gender dua-duanya merupakan fokus dari pembangunan abad ini. Sayangnya, di dalam dunia Pendidikan anak usia dini, isu kesetaraan gender masih seringkali menjadi tabu. Dalam upaya meningkatkan kualitas Pendidikan anak usia dini, pemerintah melibatkan istri kepala daerah sebagai tokoh penggerak PAUD yang kemudian diberi predikat Bunda PAUD. Predikat Bunda PAUD merupakan predikat yang melekat pada istri pejabat atau kepala daerah perempuan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian studi kasus yang dilakukan pada 3 orang Bunda PAUD dan 1 orang perwakilan dari Kementerian Pendidikan. Melihat dari sudut pandang feminist post-structuralist, penelitian ini menganalisis wacana Bunda PAUD berdasarkan pengalaman dan pandangan Bunda PAUD melalui teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara. Teknik analisis data yang dilakukan yaitu grounded theory. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa munculnya predikat Bunda PAUD yang merupakan pekerjaan sukarela secara tidak langsung memperkuat asumsi pekerjaan mengasuh dan mendidik anak merupakan pekerjaan yang bersifat sukarela dan tidak memerlukan adanya profesionalitas atau sebatas penghargaan yang mengambang. Meski demikian, pada kenyataannya predikat Bunda PAUD yang diperolehnya memiliki manfaat tersendiri bagi setiap individunya. Early childhood education and gender equality are one of the goals of sustainable development. In point four and point five of the SDGs, both PAUD and gender equality are the focus of development this century. Unfortunately, in the world of early childhood education, the issue of gender equality is often still taboo. In an effort to improve the quality of early childhood education, the government involved the wife of the regional head as a figure driving PAUD who was then given the title Mother of PAUD. The title Mother of PAUD is a title attached to the wife of a female official or regional head. This research used a case study research method conducted on 3 mother of PAUD and 1 representative of the Indonesia Ministry of Education. Looking from a post-structuralist feminist perspective, this research analyzes the role of PAUD Mothers based on the experiences and views of PAUD Mothers through data collection techniques in the form of interviews. The data analysis technique used was grounded theory. The results of the research show that the emergence of the title Mother of PAUD, which is voluntary work, indirectly strengthens the requirements for the job of caring for and educating children, which is voluntary work and does not require professionalism or limited to floating awards. However, in reality, the title of PAUD Mother that she received has its own benefits for each individual.
