Abstract

Sistem pendidikan di Indonesia, termasuk pendidikan jasmani, sangat penting untuk kemajuan bangsa. Namun, sumber daya yang terbatas dan fasilitas yang tidak memadai dapat menghambat pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan membandingkan sarana prasarana dengan kompetensi guru di SMA dan SMK Kabupaten Subang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dan desain survei cross-sectional dengan melibatkan 160 guru PJOK SMA dan SMK kelas 10 dari 30 kecamatan. Dengan fokus pada kelas 10, penelitian ini dapat memberikan gambaran yang lebih representatif mengenai pengaruh infrastruktur terhadap kualitas pendidikan jasmani sejak dini di tingkat pendidikan menengah, serta bagaimana hal ini memengaruhi kompetensi guru PJOK dalam mengajar siswa yang baru memasuki jenjang pendidikan ini. Teknik sampel yang digunakan adalah Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling dengan total sampel 16 guru. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner tertutup, dengan fokus pada sarana prasarana dan kompetensi guru. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji normalitas, homogenitas, dan one sample T-test dengan SPSS versi 26. Berdasarkan one sample t-test di SMK Kabupaten Subang, diperoleh nilai sig. 0,001 dan 0,000 < 0,05, sehingga terdapat pengaruh sarana prasarana SMK terhadap kompetensi guru di Kabupaten Subang. Sedangkan, di SMA Kabupaten Subang diperoleh nilai sig. 0,000 dan 0,000 < 0,05, sehingga terdapat pengaruh sarana prasarana SMA terhadap kompetensi guru di Kabupaten Subang. Perbandingan antara SMA/SMAN dan SMK/SMKN mengungkapkan bahwa meskipun SMA/SMAN memiliki lebih banyak peralatan olahraga, SMK/SMKN menunjukkan nilai yang lebih tinggi dalam kompetensi pedagogik dan profesional. mplikasi dari hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan infrastruktur pendidikan jasmani dapat berperan sebagai strategi penting untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru di Kabupaten Subang. Penyediaan fasilitas olahraga yang memadai tidak hanya berpengaruh pada kompetensi pedagogik dan profesional guru, tetapi juga mendukung kompetensi sosial mereka. Oleh karena itu, pemerintah daerah dan pihak sekolah perlu mengambil langkah untuk memperbaiki serta mendistribusikan sarana dan prasarana olahraga secara merata antara SMA/SMAN dan SMK/SMKN. Dengan kebijakan yang lebih seimbang, pengembangan infrastruktur di seluruh sekolah diharapkan dapat berkontribusi pada peningkatan kualitas pendidikan di Kabupaten Subang secara keseluruhan, melalui peningkatan kompetensi guru yang lebih optimal dan berkelanjutan. The education system in Indonesia, including physical education, is very important for the progress of the nation. However, limited resources and inadequate facilities can hinder learning. Therefore, this study aims to compare infrastructure with teacher competence in senior high schools and vocational high schools in Subang Regency. This study used a descriptive method and a cross-sectional survey design involving 160 senior high school and vocational high school physical education teachers in grade 10 from 30 sub-districts. By focusing on grade 10, this study can provide a more representative picture of the influence of infrastructure on the quality of physical education from an early age at the secondary education level, as well as how this affects the competence of physical education teachers in teaching students who are just entering this level of education. The sampling technique used was Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling with a total sample of 16 teachers. Data were collected through a closed questionnaire, focusing on infrastructure and teacher competence. Data were analyzed using normality, homogeneity, and one sample T-test tests with SPSS version 26. Based on the one sample t-test in vocational high schools in Subang Regency, the sig. value was obtained. 0.001 and 0.000 <0.05, so there is an influence of vocational high school facilities and infrastructure on teacher competence in Subang Regency. Meanwhile, in senior high schools in Subang Regency, the sig. values are 0.000 and 0.000 <0.05, so there is an influence of senior high school facilities and infrastructure on teacher competence in Subang Regency. The comparison between senior high schools and vocational high schools reveals that although senior high schools have more sports equipment, vocational high schools show higher values in pedagogical and professional competence. The implications of the results of this study indicate that improving physical education infrastructure can play an important role as a strategy to improve teacher competence in Subang Regency. The provision of adequate sports facilities not only affects the pedagogical and professional competence of teachers, but also supports their social competence. Therefore, local governments and schools need to take steps to improve and distribute sports facilities and infrastructure evenly between senior high schools and vocational high schools. With a more balanced policy, infrastructure development in all schools is expected to contribute to improving the quality of education in Subang Regency as a whole, through more optimal and sustainable improvement of teacher competencies.
