Abstract
Pendidikan merupakan kegiatan dalam mengoptimalkan perkembangan potensi, kecapakan, dan karakteristik pribadi peserta didik. Pendidikan tidak jauh dari adanya proses pembelajaran. Proses pembelajaran ini, perlu didukung oleh model pembelajaran yang tepat agar peserta didik dapat mencapai tujuan pembelajaran yang diinginkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui keterlaksanaan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL), (2) mengetahui hasil belajar peserta didik dalam aspek kognitif, dan (3) mengetahui hasil belajar peserta didik dalam aspek psikomotorik pada elemen Produksi Olahan Hasil Nabati. Metode penelitian yang digunakan, yaitu Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilakukan sebanyak 2 siklus. Siklus 1 dilaksanakan dengan kegiatan pembelajaran di kelas dan dilakukan penilaian pada aspek kognitif. Siklus 2 dilaksanakan kegiatan praktikum di laboraturium dan dilakukan penilaian pada aspek psikomotorik. Sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini, yaitu peserta didik kelas XI APHP 1 dengan jumlah 34 peserta didik. Hasil penerapan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning diperoleh berdasarkan hasil observasi pada siklus 1 dan siklus 2 termasuk kategori “sangat baik”. Hasil belajar peserta didik pada aspek kognitif dengan N-Gain pada pretest dan posttest menunjukkan kategori “tinggi”, dan pada aspek psikomotorik rata-rata nilai peserta didik dengan kategori “sangat baik”. Model pembelajaran PBL diduga dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik melalui kegiatan pemecahan masalah dan uji coba melalui praktik yang memperkaya pengalaman belajar peserta didik. Education is an activity in optimizing the development of the potential, skills, and personal characteristics of students. Education is not far from the learning process. This learning process needs to be supported by the right learning model so that students can achieve the desired learning objectives. This study aims to (1) determine the implementation of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model, (2) determine student learning outcomes in cognitive aspects, and (3) determine student learning outcomes in psychomotor aspects element of Vegetable Products Production. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which is carried out in 2 cycles. Cycle 1 was carried out with learning activities in the classroom and assessed on cognitive aspects. Cycle 2 was carried out practicum activities in the laboratory and assessed the psychomotor aspects. The sample used in this study was XI APHP 1 class students with a total of 34 students. The results of the application of the Problem Based Learning learning model obtained based on the results of observations in cycle 1 and cycle 2 are in the "very good" category. The results of students' learning outcomes in the cognitive aspect with N-Gain on the pretest and posttest show the "high" category, and in the psychomotor aspect the average score of students in the "very good" category. The PBL learning model is thought to be able to improve the learning outcomes of students through problem solving activities and trials through practice.
