Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran motivasi, pelatihan kewirausahaan dan kesiapan berwirausaha mahasiswa kewirausahaan, serta untuk mengetahui peran motivasi dalam memediasi pengaruh pelatihan kewirausahaan terhadap kesiapan berwirausaha mahasiswa Kewirausahaan Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia Kampus Tasikmalaya angkatan 2020-2022. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif verifikatif. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 127 mahasiswa dengan menggunakan rumus slovin dengan taraf kesalahan 5%. Analisis datanya menggunakan path analysis. Hasil dari penelitian menyatakan bahwa pelatihan kewirausahaan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi mahasiswa kewirausahaan sebesar -55,5% artinya berpengaruh sedang. Pelatihan kewirausahaan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kesiapan berwirausaha mahasiswa kewirausahaan sebesar 84,5%. Motivasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kesiapan berwirausaha mahasiswa kewirausahaan sebesar 12,49%. Motivasi memediasi pelatihan kewirausahaan terhadap kesiapan berwirausaha sebesar 22,6%. Pelatihan kewirausahaan dapat membantu mahasiswa dalam meningkatkan motivasi sehingga mahasiswa memiliki kesiapan yang matang untuk mulai berwirausaha.
This study aims to provide an overview of motivation, entrepreneurship training and
entrepreneurial readiness of entrepreneurial students, as well as to determine the role
of motivation in mediating the influence of entrepreneurship training on the
entrepreneurial readiness of Entrepreneurship students at the Indonesian Education
University, Tasikmalaya Campus, class of 2020-2022. The research method used is a
quantitative method with a descriptive verification approach. The number of samples
was 127 students using the Slovin formula with a 5% error rate. The data analysis used
path analysis. The results of the study stated that entrepreneurship training had a
positive and significant effect on the motivation of entrepreneurial students by -55.5%,
meaning it had a moderate effect. Entrepreneurship training had a positive and
significant effect on the entrepreneurial readiness of entrepreneurial students by
84.5%. Motivation had a positive and significant effect on the entrepreneurial
readiness of entrepreneurial students by 12.49%. Motivation mediates
entrepreneurship training on entrepreneurial readiness by 22.6%. Entrepreneurship
training can help students increase their motivation so that students have a mature
readiness to start entrepreneurship.
