Abstract

Desain Pemodelan Bangunan (DPB) menjadi salah satu judul elemen dalam konsentrasi keahlian DPIB (Desain Pemodelan dan Informasi Bangunan) SMK Negeri 2 Tasikmalaya yang menuntut peserta didik memiliki kemampuan dan pemahaman yang baik tentang bentuk, ruang, proporsi, dan hubungan antara elemen-elemen bangunan. Maka dalam konteks pembelajaran kemampuan penalaran spasial memiliki peranan penting. Berdasarkan identifikasi masalah peserta didik kurang memiliki kemampuan dalam beberapa aspek penalaran spasial khususnya konsep rotasi, refreksi dan skala. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh tingkat kemampuan penalaran spasial terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan jenis Correlational Study. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 94 peserta didik kelas XI DPIB di SMK Negeri 2 Tasikmalaya. Variabel kemampuan penalara spasial diukur melalui tes kemampuan penalaran spasial berbentuk tes objektif pilihan ganda berjumlah 25 butir soal. Sedangkan variabel hasil belajar didapat melalui dokumentasi nilai hasil belajar project menggambar 2D dan 3D pada elemen DPB. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: 1). Kemampuan penalaran spasial peserta didik berada di kategori baik dengan perolehan nilai rata-rata 77,574; 2). Hasil belajar peserta didik pada elemen DPB berada di kategori baik dengan perolehan nilai rata-rata 70,085, dan 3). Terdapat pengaruh signifikan dan positif antara kemampuan penalaran spasial terhadap hasil belajar elemen DPB pada peserta didik Kelas XI DPIB 3 SMK Negeri 2 Tasikmalaya dengan kontribusi sebesar 34,9%. Building Modeling Design (DPB) is one of the element titles in the DPIB (Building Modeling and Information Design) expertise concentration of SMK Negeri 2 Tasikmalaya which requires students to have good abilities and understanding of form, space, proportion, and relationships between building elements. So in the context of learning, spatial reasoning skills have an important role. Based on the identification of problems, students lack the ability in several aspects of spatial reasoning, especially the concepts of rotation, reflection and scale. This study aims to: Determine the effect of the level of spatial reasoning ability on student learning outcomes. This study uses a quantitative descriptive approach with the type of Correlational Study. The sample of this study was 94 class XI DPIB students at SMK Negeri 2 Tasikmalaya. The spatial reasoning ability variable was measured through a spatial reasoning ability test in the form of a multiple-choice objective test totaling 25 questions. While the learning outcome variable was obtained through documentation of the learning outcome scores of 2D and 3D drawing projects on the DPB element. The results of the study showed that: 1). The spatial reasoning ability of students is in the good category with an average score of 77.511; 2). The learning outcomes of students in the DPB element are in the good category with an average score of 70.085, and 3). There is a significant and positive influence between spatial reasoning ability and learning outcomes of DPB elements in Class XI DPIB 3 students of SMK Negeri 2 Tasikmalaya with a contribution of 34.9%.
