Teni Susanti, - (2024) KEBERTERIMAAN SUPERVISI AKADEMIK KEPALA SEKOLAH DALAM TINJAUAN STRUCTURAL EQUATION MODEL DI SEKOLAH DASAR KABUPATEN BANDUNG BARAT. S2 thesis, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia.
Abstract
------------ One program that can be held in the context of teacher empowerment is academic supervision. However, academic supervision is still problematic. Sometimes not all teachers can accept that they have to be supervised. Therefore, this research aims to examine what factors contribute most to the acceptability of supervision. This research was carried out using a correlational survey method. The data sources for this research were 206 elementary school teachers and principals in West Bandung Regency who were involved voluntarily. Data was collected through an online questionnaire guided by a Likert scale. Data was processed using SEM-PLS. The results of the research show that factors that influence and are significant in the acceptance of supervision are attitude and comfort, factors that influence but are not significant are knowledge and supervision procedures. Meanwhile, what has no relationship to the acceptability of supervision is normative belief. Based on these results, attitude and comfort greatly influence the implementation of supervision. If a teacher has a good attitude and feels comfortable when being supervised, then the teacher accepts supervision well. But even if the teacher has adequate knowledge, follows supervision procedures, if his attitude is not accepting, does not feel comfortable, and is not sure that supervision is beneficial for him, then supervision will not be well received.
