Abstract
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh langsung dan pengaruh tidak langsung, dukungan sosial terhadap kesiapan kerja yang dimediasi oleh self-efficacy pada mahasiswa tingkat akhir di Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif dengan desain cross sectional. Sampel penelitian ini terdiri atas 382. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah MPSS (Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support) yang disusun oleh Zimet, dkk, (1988), The Work Readiness Scale (WRS) yang dirancang oleh Caballero et.al., (2011) yang kemudian dimodifikasi oleh Sindy (2019), dan General Self-efficacy scale (GSES) merupakan instrumen yang dirancang oleh Schwazer & Jerusalem, (1995). Proses pengumpulan data dilakukan secara online dengan menyebarkan link kuesioner di beberapa platform media sosial. Analisis data menggunakan uji asumsi klasik, regresi sederhana, regresi berganda, dan sobel test dengan menggunakan bantuan software SPSS versi 22.0 for windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) Self-efficacy dapat memediasi pengaruh dukungan sosial terhadap kesiapan kerja; (2) dukungan sosial berpengaruh secara signifikan dengan arah korelasi positif; (3) dukungan sosial berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap self-efficacy dengan arah korelasi positif; (4) self-efficacy berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kesiapan kerja dengan arah korelasi positif. The purpose of this study is to determine the direct and indirect influence of social support on work readiness, mediated by self-efficacy, among final-year students at the Indonesia University of Education. This research employs a quantitative method with a cross-sectional design. The sample consists of 382 students. The research instruments used include the MPSS (Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support) developed by Zimet et al., (1988), the Work Readiness Scale (WRS) designed by Caballero et al., (2011), and later modified by Sindy (2019), and the General Self-efficacy Scale (GSES) designed by Schwazer & Jerusalem, (1995). Data collection was conducted online by distributing the questionnaire link via several social media platforms. Data analysis utilised classical assumption tests, simple regression, multiple regression, and Sobel test, with the assistance of SPSS version 22.0 for Windows. The results of the study indicate that (1) Self-efficacy mediates the influence of social support on work readiness; (2) Social support significantly influences work readiness with a positive correlation; (3) Social support significantly influences self-efficacy with a positive correlation; and (4) Self-efficacy significantly influences work readiness with a positive correlation.
