Abstract
Penerapan model pembelajaran dapat memberikan dampak pada aktivitas belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe think pair share terhadap aktivitas belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran geografi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pre – eksperimen dengan one group pretest – posttest design. Dalam pengambilan sampel berjumlah 34 orang yang diambil menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Pengambilan data menggunakan angket yang diberikan kepada 34 orang sampel. Angket tersebut diberikan sebanyak dua kali sebagai pre – test dan juga post – test. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas, homogenitas, paired sample t – test, dan independent sample t – test dengan bantuan aplikasi SPSS 23. Hasil penelitian ini adalah (1) pada mata pelajaran geografi, aktivitas belajar peserta didik di kelas X masih tergolong rendah. (2) setelah dilakukan penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS pada kelas X SMAN 1 Cibeber mendapati hasil bahwa terjadi peningkatan pada aktivitas belajar peserta didik. (3) setelah dilakukan uji menggunakan uji kuantitatif melalui SPSS dan melihat hasil pre – test dan post – test mendapatkan hasil yang meningkat, signifikan, dan membawa pengaruh pada peningkatan aktivitas belajar peserta didik. Hasil penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif memiliki keunggulan dalam meningkatkan aktivitas belajar peserta didik. The application of learning models can have an impact on student learning activeness. This study aims to determine the application of cooperative learning model type think pair share on student learning activities in geography subjects. The method used in this research is pre - experiment with one group pretest - posttest design. The sampling amounted to 34 people who were taken using purposive sampling technique. Data collection using a questionnaire given to 34 samples. The questionnaire was given twice as a pre-test and also a post-test. Data analysis techniques using normality test, homogeneity, paired sample t - test, and independent sample t - test with the help of SPSS 23 application. The results of this study are (1) in geography subjects, student learning activities in class X are still relatively low. (2) after the application of the TPS type cooperative learning model in class X SMAN 1 Cibeber found that there was an increase in student learning activities. (3) After the test was conducted using quantitative test through SPSS and looking at the results of pre-test and post-test, the results were increased, significant, and had an influence on the increase in students' learning activities. The results of this study confirm that the application of cooperative learning models has advantages in increasing student learning activities.
