Abstract

Proses pengembangan pembelajaran kewirausahaan dalam perencanaannya membutuhkan data awal berupa minat wirausaha siswa. Adanya data awal yang komprehensif mengenai minat wirausaha siswa, pihak sekolah dapat merencanakan dan mengembangkan kurikulum kewirausahaan yang lebih efektif dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan serta potensi masing-masing siswa. Tujuan utama dalam penelitian ini yaitu mengetahui jenis wirausaha yang diminati siswa dan kategori minat wirausaha siswa pada kompetensi keahlian teknik pemesinan di SMK Negeri 2 Cimahi ditinjau dari indikator minat wirausaha. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI Kompetensi Keahlian Teknik Pemesinan SMK Negeri 2 Cimahi dengan sampel berjumlah 33 siswa, yang diambil dengan purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dan dokumentasi. Data diolah menggunakan IBM SPSS Statistics 29 dan Microsoft excle. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jenis wirausaha yang diminati siswa pada kompetensi keahlian teknik pemesinan di SMK Negeri 2 Cimahi terbagi dalam 2 jenis yaitu wirausaha di bidang teknik pemesinan seperti bengkel bubut dan frais, jasa desain gambar mesin, dan jasa perawatan mesin produksi, sedangkan wirausaha di luar bidang teknik pemesinan seperti kuliner, jual beli hasil ternak, dan bengkel motor, sedangkan minat wirausaha siswa kompetensi keahlian teknik pemesinan di SMK Negeri 2 Cimahi termasuk pada kategori tinggi. The process of developing entrepreneurship learning in its planning requires initial data in the form of students' entrepreneurial interests. With comprehensive initial data on students' entrepreneurial interests, schools can plan and develop a more effective entrepreneurship curriculum that is in accordance with the needs and potential of each student. The main objective of this study is to determine the types of entrepreneurship that students are interested in and the categories of students' entrepreneurial interests in the mechanical engineering expertise competency at SMK Negeri 2 Cimahi in terms of entrepreneurial interest indicators. The type of research used is descriptive research with a quantitative approach. The population in this study were students of class XI in the Mechanical Engineering Expertise Competency of SMK Negeri 2 Cimahi with a sample of 33 students, taken by purposive sampling. Data collection techniques used questionnaires and documentation. Data were processed using IBM SPSS Statistics 29 and Microsoft Excel. The results of the study indicate that the types of entrepreneurship that are of interest to students in the machining engineering expertise competency at SMK Negeri 2 Cimahi are divided into 2 types, namely entrepreneurship in the field of machining engineering such as lathe and milling workshops, machine drawing design services, and production machine maintenance services, while entrepreneurship outside the field of machining engineering such as culinary, buying and selling livestock products, and motorcycle workshops, while the entrepreneurial interests of students in the machining engineering expertise competency at SMK Negeri 2 Cimahi are included in the high category.
