Abstract

Penelitian ini didasarkan pada latar belakang implementasi model eurhythmics dalam pembelajaran seni musik yang belum terlaksana dengan optimal. Ditemukan bahwa pembelajaran seni musik sering dianggap sebagai pelajaran minoritas, monoton, dan hanya terlaksana jika ada alat musik. Hal ini bertentangan dengan konsep model eurhythmics Dalcroze yang bertujuan untuk mengembangkan kreativitas dan apresiasi peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi guru taman kanak-kanak terhadap model eurhythmics Dalcroze dalam pembelajaran seni musik. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode survei, menggunakan angket sebagai instrumen pengumpulan data. Subjek penelitian adalah guru-guru taman kanak-kanak di Kecamatan Cihaurbeuti, Kabupaten Ciamis, Jawa Barat. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan SPSS IBM 26 dan diinterpretasikan sesuai dengan tujuan penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tingkat persepsi guru terhadap model eurhythmics Dalcroze dalam pembelajaran seni musik sebagai berikut: aspek kognitif (72%), aspek afektif (93%), dan aspek konatif (79%), semuanya berada dalam kategori baik. Mengingat bahwa model eurhythmics Dalcroze memerlukan pemahaman dan keterampilan khusus, disarankan agar dilakukan pelatihan khusus, seperti workshop intensif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan guru dalam menerapkan model eurhythmics ini. Upaya ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran seni musik dan mengubah persepsi guru bahwa mata pelajaran seni musik bukanlah mata pelajaran minoritas dan menjadikannya sebagai bagian integral dari pengembangan holistik anak usia dini. This research is based on the background of the implementation of the eurhythmics model in music learning which has not been carried out optimally. It was found that music learning is often considered as a minority lesson, monotonous, and only done if there are musical instruments. This is contrary to the concept of Dalcroze's eurhythmics model which aims to develop students' creativity and appreciation. This study aims to determine the perceptions of kindergarten teachers towards Dalcroze's eurhythmics model in learning music. The research was conducted using survey method, using questionnaire as data collection instrument. The research subjects were kindergarten teachers in Cihaurbeuti District, Ciamis Regency, West Java. The data obtained were analyzed using SPSS IBM 26 and interpreted in accordance with the research objectives. The results showed the level of teacher perception of Dalcroze's eurhythmics model in music learning as follows: cognitive aspects (72%), affective aspects (93%), and conative aspects (79%), all of which are in the good category. Given that Dalcroze's eurhythmics model requires special understanding and skills, it is recommended that special training be conducted, such as intensive workshops to improve teachers' understanding and skills in applying this eurhythmics model. This effort is expected to improve the quality of music learning and change teachers' perceptions that music is not a minority subject and make it an integral part of holistic early childhood development.
