Abstract
Kota Bandung menawarkan banyak wisata menarik, perkembangannya yang di mulai pada tahun 1920 dan pada tahun 1980-an, pariwisata merupakan sektor ekonomi yang paling signifikan di kota Bandung. Salah satu wisata yang menarik di Kota Bandung yaitu destinasi wisata belanja atau shopping tourism. Shopping tourism termasuk salah satu faktor pendorong yang memotivasi wisatawan untuk melakukan perjalanan. Kota Bandung sebagai destinasi wisata belanja memiliki berbagai macam jenis wisata belanja, seperti fashion, souvenir, dan oleh-oleh. Tujuan dari penilitian ini yaitu mengidentifikasi perkembangan, faktor yang mempengaruhi dan pola persebaran destinasi wisata di kota bandung. Pada penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Perkembangan destinasi wisata belanja terjadi di tiga periode waktu pra kemerdekaan (1800-1945), pasca kemerdekaan (1946-1997), dan reformasi (1998-sekarang) terlihat bahwa destinasi wisata belanja di kota Bandung mengalami perkembangan signifikan, terutama pada periode reformasi. Peta persebaran menunjukkan bahwa destinasi wisata belanja menyebar hamper ke seluruh wilayah kota Bandung. Perkembangan destinasi wisata belanja di kota Bandung dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor, seperti perkembangan infrastruktur, peran pemerintah, dan kemajuan teknologi. Kunci: wisata belanja Bandung, perkembangan, pola persebaran The city of Bandung offers many interesting tourist attractions, its development began in the 1920s and in the 1980s, tourism was the most significant economic sector in the city of Bandung. One of the interesting tourist attractions in the city of Bandung is shopping tourism destinations. Shopping tourism is one of the driving factors that motivates tourists to travel. The city of Bandung as a shopping tourism destination has various types of shopping tourism, such as fashion, souvenirs and souvenirs. The aim of this research is to identify developments, influencing factors and distribution patterns of tourist destinations in the city of Bandung. This research uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The development of shopping tourism destinations occurred in three time periods, pre-independence (1800-1945), post-independence (1946-1997), and reform (1998-now). It can be seen that shopping tourism destinations in the city of Bandung experienced significant development, especially during the reform period. The distribution map shows that shopping tourism destinations are spread almost throughout the city of Bandung. The development of shopping tourism destinations in the city of Bandung is influenced by several factors, such as infrastructure development, the role of government, and technological advances.
