Abstract
Anak-anak usia dini yang berusia antara 5-6 tahun umumnya memiliki kemampuan berpikir logis yang sudah cukup optimal. Dalam penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur sejauh mana pengaruh kegiatan meronce terhadap kemampuan berpikir logis anak usia 5-6 tahun di RW 04 Desa Sukaluyu Kecamatan Ganeas, Kabupaten Sumedang, sebelum dan sesuduah dilakukan perlakuan. Kemampuan berpikir logis merupakan salah satu aspek penting dalam kognitif anak usia dini yang mencakup kemampuan berpikir secara sitematis, memahami pola, dan kemampuan memori. Kegiatan meronce dipilih sebagai intervensi karena melibatkan kegiatan yang dapat merangsang kemampuan berpikir logis dan konsentrasi anak. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode preeksperimen dengan desain One Group Pre-Test Post-Test. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 9 anak yang berusia 5-6 tahun di RW 04 Desa Sukaluyu Kecamatan Ganeas, Kabupaten Sumedang. Nilai rata-rata posttest lebih tinggi dibandingkan nilai pretest. Hal tersebut mengindikasikan bahwa kegiatan meronce memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap kemampuan berpikir logis anak usia 5-6 tahun. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa nilai signifikansi yang diperoleh dari Uji Wilcoxon adalah 0,007. Karena nilai kurang dari 0,05 maka H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Oleh karena itu, terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara nilai rata-rata pretest dan posttest pada hasil tes kemampuan berpikir logis melalui kegiatan meronce. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa kegiatan meronce dapat dijadikan sebagai salah satu kegiatan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir logis anak usia dini. Early childhood children between the ages of 5-6 generally have logical thinking skills that are quite optimal. The ability to think logically is one of the important aspects of early childhood cognition which includes the ability to think systematically, understand patterns, and memory skills. Meronce activities were chosen as an intervention because they involved activities that could stimulate children's logical thinking skills and concentration. This study uses a pre-experimental method with the One Group Pre-Test Post-Test design. The research sample consisted of 9 children aged 5-6 years in RW 04 Sukaluyu Village, Ganeas District, Sumedang Regency. The average score of the posttest is higher than the score of the pretest. This indicates that meronce activities have a positive influence on the logical thinking skills of 5-6 year old children. The results show that the analysis results show that the significance value obtained from the Wilcoxon Test is 0.007. Because the value is less than 0.05, H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Therefore, there is a significant difference between the average pretest and posttest scores in the results of the logical thinking ability test through meronce activities. This study concludes that meronce activities can be used as one of the activities to improve early childhood logical thinking skills.
