Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model pendidikan kedamaian berbasis sistem among (PKBSA) untuk mengembangkan karakter cinta damai siswa SD. Penelitian ini didasari atas keprihatinan peneliti terhadap banyaknya kasus kekerasan baik verbal mapun fisik di kalangan anak usia sekolah dasar maupun remaja. Hal itu menunjukan bahwa masih belum optimalnya pengembangan karakter cinta damai khususnya di sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (R&D) dengan tiga tahap pengembangan meliputi: (1) studi pendahuluan, (2) pengembangan dan validasi serta (3) pengujian. Berdasarkan hasil pengembangan serta validasi diperoleh sintaks model PKBSA yaitu (1) Membangun kesepakatan, (2) Mengamati, (3) Menjawab, (4) Berdiskusi, (5) Eksplorasi dan (6) Implementasi. Uji Implementasi model PKBSA yang dikembangkan dilakukan melalui uji terbatas dan uji luas dengan menggunakan quasi eksperiment design dengan pretes-postes control design. Hasil implementasi model PKBSA dalam kegiatan pembelajaran diperoleh data bahwa model PKBSA efektif dalam mengembangkan karakter cinta damai siswa. This research aims to develop a peace education model based on the among system (PKBSA) to develop the peace-loving character of elementary school students. This research is based on researchers' concerns about the large number of cases of violence, both verbal and physical, among elementary school-aged children and teenagers. This shows that the development of peace-loving character is still not optimal, especially in elementary schools.. This research is development research (R&D) with three stages of development including: (1) preliminary study, (2) development and validation and (3) testing (limited and extensive). Based on the results of development and validation, the PKBSA model syntax was obtained, namely (1) Building agreement, (2) Observing, (3) Answering, (4) Discussing, (5) Exploring and (6) Implementing. Implementation tests of the developed PKBSA model were carried out through limited tests and extensive tests using a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest control design. The results of implementing the PKBSA model in learning activities showed that the PKBSA model was effective in developing students' peace-loving character.
