Abstract
Kebugaran jasmani dan proses pembelajaran berpengaruh terhadap prestasi akademik. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode kombinasi dengan model concurrent embedded yaitu 70% kuantitatif dan 30% kualitatif, teknik pengumpulan data melalui TKJI, observasi, wawancara dan raport siswa SMP Pasundan 7 Bandung dengan sample 15% dari 240 yaitu 36 orang. Teknik pengolahan data menggunakan path analysis. Pengujian hipotesis menunjukan bahwa kebugaran jasmani-prestasi akademik serta keaktifan siswa-prestasi akademik memiliki pengaruh positif yaitu sebesar 38%, namun kebugaran jasmani dan prestasi akademik memiliki signifikansi yang rendah yaitu 5,4%. Sedangkan kebugaran jasmani terhadap proses pembelajaran sebesar 54%. Rendahnya pengaruh kebugaran jasmani terhadap prestasi akademik dianalisis sebagai bentuk dari kebugaran jasmani siswa yang harus ditingkatkan, salah satunya dengan rajin berolahraga. Secara bersama-sama kebugaran jasmani dan keaktifan siswa memiliki pengaruh yang positif terhadap prestasi akademik. Pihak sekolah disarankan mengeluarkan kebijakan tentang pentingnya pembinaan kebugaran jasmani bagi siswanya, karena kebugaran jasmani merupakan pra-kondisi untuk kesiapan belajar. Guru penjas hendaknya memperhatikan jenis dan macam latihan fisik yang dapat meningkatkan kebugaran jasmani dan mampu merangsang meningkatkan prestasi belajar kognitif. The school is recommended to issue a policy on the importance of physical fitness training for students, because physical fitness is a pre-condition for learning readiness. Penjas teachers should pay attention to the type and kind of physical exercise can improve physical fitness and is able to stimulate increases cognitive learning achievement.
