Abstract

Aspek perkembangan kognitif penting untuk distimulasi sejak dini, karena sangat berpengaruh terhadap aspek perkembangan lainnya. Anak dengan perkembangan kognitif yang baik cenderung memiliki kecerdasan yang tinggi. Di TK ABA 2 Kota Serang salah satu upaya optimalisasi perkembangan kognitif AUD dilakukan melalui aktivitas pembelajaran jual beli yang berbasis metode bermain peran. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tahapan pembelajaran “jual beli” dan dampak kegiatan pembelajaran jual beli terhadap perkembangan kognitif anak usia dini di Taman Kanak-Kanak. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dan metode deskriptif. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 17 orang anak usia 4-5 tahun, 1 orang kepala sekolah, dan 1 orang guru. Data penelitian yang dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan model interaktif yang terdiri atas 3 tahapan yakni (1) reduksi data; (2) tampilan data; (3) penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa dalam melaksanakan aktivitas pembelajaran jual beli terdapat tujuh langkah yang perlu dilakukan, antara lain: (1) Guru ikut serta dalam pelatihan. (2) Menyediakan lingkungan permainan. (3) Penyediaan alat dan media. (4) Mengenalkan kegiatan permainan jual beli, (5) Memberikan kesempatan bermain kepada anak, (6) Memantau kegiatan pembelajaran pada saat kegiatan pembelajaran jual beli, dan (7) Refleksi di akhir kegiatan pembelajaran. Aktivitas pembelajaran jual beli memberikan dampak positif terhadap perkembangan kognitif anak usia dini terutama pada aspek “melihat dan menyentuh benda yang ditunjukkan orang lain”. Rekomendasi penelitian ditunjukkan untuk pihak-pihak seperti bagi anak usia dini, guru, dan kepala sekolah. Children with good cognitive development tend to have high intelligence. In ABA 2 Kindergarten, Serang City, one of the efforts to optimize the cognitive development of AUD is carried out through buying and selling learning activities based on role-playing methods. The purpose of this study was to determine the stages of "buying and selling" learning and the impact of buying and selling learning activities on the cognitive development of early childhood in Kindergarten. This study uses a qualitative approach and descriptive method. The research subjects consisted of 17 children aged 4-5 years, 1 principal, and 1 teacher. Research data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The data analysis technique uses an interactive model consisting of 3 stages, namely (1) data reduction; (2) data display; (3) drawing conclusions. The results of the study showed that in carrying out buying and selling learning activities there are seven steps that need to be taken, including: (1) Teachers participate in training. (2) Providing a play environment. (3) Provision of tools and media. (4) Introducing buying and selling game activities, (5) Providing opportunities for children to play, (6) Monitoring learning activities during buying and selling learning activities, and (7) Reflection at the end of learning activities. Buying and selling learning activities have a positive impact on the cognitive development of early childhood, especially in the aspect of "seeing and touching objects shown by others". Research recommendations are intended for parties such as early childhood, teachers, and school principals.
